Woohoo, I knew sum of u out there already expected how I'll start my post but I'll do it anyways. It's been ages since my last post!!! Gee, it's so obvious isn't it? Oh wells. What to do? I still haven't sent my computer for repair. Having a laptop doesn't help either coz Wireless Internet Connections in public places can be darn slow! Moreover, my laptop is from so way past season. It's too bulky and heavy to be carried around... ARGH! Now, I resort to using the com in the library. Have to pay "a little" no doubt but I just can't help the craving to check my email, friendster and blog. Sigh... get a life lah!
Oh yeah, I knew it's like already half a month gone but I still haven't officially wish everyone a Happy New Year 2008! How did the few days started out for u guys? My first 2 days was awesome but little did I know that the next 11 days will be dreadful. Well, not really but still...! I'm sure u all know I went for this so called attachment with Singapore Mint, right? Well, it's really not as promising, ok! I expected a whole lot more from them! Having colleagues that gets on my nerves also pulled my spirit down a wee bit. Fortunately, on a whole, it wasn't that bad. Get what I mean? LOL! I'm afraid I sound contradicting but come on... I'm only human. There's ups and downs every single day... So yeah, every single day at work, I felt differently. Awesome, no?
Talking about awesome, the pay from slaving around for more than a week is quite handsome. On the last night, everyone received their pay in cold hard cash. The amount varies with the attendance and since I came every single day, I earned $525! Gee, that kind of money never come that easily, does it? Now when will my Sentosa pay come rolling in the bank? Haha! I'm still waiting... Well of coz, since for the first time in my life, I worked on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day itself! :D Ka-ching, ka-ching! ;) Now I'm looking forward to working on Chinese New Year! :)
Ok what else? Oh yeah. About my family. My "dad" agreed to pay a maintenance fee of ONLY $240 per month for me. Is he out of his mind? That amount is so minimal! Mom gave me MORE every month. Sheesh. But at least, rather than he backs out of his responsibility, might as well he chip in a bit. Mom planned to just keep the money for my future studies. Hmmm... We'll see how things goes. This will carry on till I am 21 years old. Ka-ching ka-ching again! ;)
Hmm... School wise, learning still sux. Not that I have a choice. Haha! Marketing CA is in 2 days time and I haven't even revise all the chapters. I really hope not to fail. I guess I should be studying rather than blogging, right? DUH! Another thing, I really need to improve on my attendance. 88% is really shaky! I may just fall off the border. Sigh. I'll see how it goes. Perhaps with no assembly for the weeks to come, it may just be better? Hehe. I'm so happy to see all my classmates again. I miss u guys ok though I don't say/show it. :D All the best to everyone for the coming CAs.
Alrighty, I guess that's all. Oh and if u think I'm like damn rich for a bit with all those money coming in, think again. Haha! After allocating the source to different channels, I think I get to keep only half or less than half of what I earned. Sigh. It's alright. I'll continue slaving @ Sentosa for as long as I can to earn the bucks. I don't really need the cash but when I have it, I just have to spend it wisely. Weee!!
