Heyas!
Wow, been 4 days since I last update. I sure have lots to tell! I'm expecting today's post to be long and draggy. Just bear with me if u wanna read. Haha! Oh btw, millions of sorry my post don't contain pictures. I know how boring it can be to read plain old text but that was what bloggin is all about initially, no? Haha! Hmmm, to make it a more less boring, I think I will separate the posts into two. At least something right? LOL! Oh wells, here we go...
Freaking Friday: Sat for my OFA continual assessment exam/test and was glad that it's quite easy. I really was expecting it to be somewhat tougher but ended up, only mail merging & table came out in the questions. Guess, out of the total 50 marks, I can get at least 45? Hopefully. Friday wasn't a nice day for me as I was pissed off 3 times! First, I was informed by a classmate that the Councillor's interview was on going and that my name was already submitted by my class advisor. In one way or another, I am forced to attend the interview. I already told my class advisor that I am not at all interested because I'm afraid I'll not be able to commit, but she ignored me completely and just said it's gonna be worthwhile. I was like what?! Is it possible to use force in this situation? Ended up, I didn't go but I couldn't find my class advisor to apologize.
Secondly, I attended the Vietnam trip briefing. It's now official that I'm leaving for Vietnam on 22nd June and will return on 26th June. Who wouldn't be happy right? I couldn't be more happier until I know the plane we're taking. They promised it to be Vietnam Airlines but they now changed it to Jetstar Airways! Yes, it's a freaking budget plane!!! Their excuse was to save budget. I really don't mind paying extra for comfort! Why I so hate budget plane? No food served throughout the 2-3 hours flight. The plane seats are small for me. -_-" The plane itself is small and it really freaks me out! Sheesh! The ultimate reason for me hating them is their departure & arrival times. Get this, I'll depart from Singapore at 07:25 and will arrive back at 00:05, making my trip extended to 27th June! Sigh~
Third, during the briefing, I was told that we need to travel all the way to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for some vaccination thingy. I so dread the idea because I was all drenched after being caught in the rain when I was going to and coming back from the mosque for friday prayers. Still, I had no say. Dragging my foot, at last I reached the place. It wasn't as far as I thought so I was cool with it. After a short briefing by a nurse, we waited for our turn to get the jab. Been a long time since I had one! I was quite nervous when I saw the needle. Get this, we're all jabbed twice at almost the same spot!!! Ouch? OUCH!! My upper left arm had a small swollen lump for two to three days due to this! Haha! I was so exhausted after the jab. Went home by bus which took freaking long but I was glad I slept throughout the journey. Heh.
Stressful/free Saturday!: It was like the best day of my life! Haha! It's not usually easy for me to be quite stressful for a few hours of the day and then be almost stress free for rest of the day! Well, as usual in the morning, I went to work. I'm quite sleepy! I think I slept in the car, on the way to work. Luckily it's not me who's driving. Haha! I sometimes look forward to working on Saturdays because supposingly, it should be much more less hectic but I was proven wrong that day. The containers seems to be pouring in and in each container, there were many different things to be offloaded. Sigh! It's not fun having to be alert when u're sleepy! Haha! Oh for those who still haven't known, I'm working at Terminal 2 Apron, as a baggage handler. My job is basically to offload baggages from the containers and THROW them to the conveyer belt which will then carry them to god-knows-where. I have to be very careful not to throw baggages which arrive way past their departure and especially those that arrive 40 minutes prior to their departure. Sounds easy right? It's definitely not if u are given more than a hundred baggages during the 4 hours of work! And get this, we have to be quick!!
Moving along, after work, I went home to rest for a while before heading out to Orchard around 3pm! Thanx Iz & Nul for tagging along! We had lotsa fun! Went places, see things, ate things, buy things!! Were there from almost 4pm to almost 9pm. Had dinner @ Sakura restaurant and I so love their dendeng fried rice & oat prawns! I can't recall when was the last time I had oat prawns! Oh, I also had auntie anne's pretzel few hours before the dinner! Delicious Scrumptious foods! At the very end of our fun time together, we took some neoprints. Nul, u promised to scan them, right? I'm still waiting... Haha! At 9pm, I headed for Vivocity to walk around before finally meeting my mom @ Harbourfront, after her work (around 10pm). Was freaking tired but definitely euphoric!
