It's Confirmed!!!

Woohoo!!! I am so excited right now! Why? Coz... my trip to Kuala Lumpur is confirmed!!! At long last, I get to visit KL once again! Haha. I am so looking forward to the short trip. Hopefully, we now get to visit all the places we have been wanting to visit all these while. Hehe. I was thinking of taking a ride in the Eye On Malaysia too but I don't think mom will agree. After all, soon enough, I will be taking a ride in the Singapore Flyer. Mom already purchased the tickets through her company but the date and time is yet to be confirmed. Weeee!!!

So yeah, I'll head for KL this Wednesday morning and if everything goes on smoothly, I should be back in Singapore by the wee hours of Saturday. Boarding the Transtar Express may be comfortable but the price tag isn't really. The return trip already cost SGD70 per pax! Haiz.

Upon reaching in KL, I'll be checking in to Ancasa Hotel. Much to my shock, hotel prices kept increasing too! Early this month, I thought I could get the room @ only RM180 per night but I was so wrong! When I did the booking last week or so, they said the rate is now RM222 per night. That is approximately SGD95 (provided the rate stays at SGD1=MYR2.34)! Insane. Transport and accomodation alone burnt a good SGD330! Ok I shall not complain much since I was the one who came out with the idea of going to KL! Haha! :D

Despite being so excited and happy, I'm still sad when I realise one thing. The Malaysia Mega Sale will only begin on 5th July! That's when I'm already back in Singapore!!! I hope they have pre-sales. Things over at KL may not be that cheap or perhaps, equivalent to Singapore but who knows, I can make some good deals there? Hehe. I just have to wait and see. I doubt my RM240 is enough to shop around crazily thus, I really have to monitor how I am going to spend the money. Mom kept on reminding that I shouldn't spend it unnecessarily. I know, I know! :P Still, I can guarantee that mom will be paying for most of the shopping despite her saying this and that. Haha!

Oh dear, I just remembered that I need to make a final confirmation with the Hotel. Imagine if I'm already at the hotel and they say my reservation is not valid? Last minute check in will cost a whopping RM300, ok! Haha. Oh yeah, I also need to plan my days in KL. Gosh, I need more time to do all these! Wish I wasn't working today. Hehe. Ok I'm suddenly feeling all euphoric. Relax, two more days to go Nizam. Yippee! :D

Lovely Sunday

Yups! Apart from the scorching sun that could very well bake me, everything else went smoothly as planned. Nah, nothing grand happened but as many of u may have known, I really do treasure the times spent with my family. It never fail to put a smile on my face. So yeah, just what much happened today?

First, the four of us went to a wedding invitation. Guess what? For the rarest of time, my aunt somehow decided to tag along! Haha. Hmmm... I seriously have got no clue who is the host and who is the newly wed but it seems that my mom, granny and even aunt had known them for ages. The host were in tears after meeting us. Eventually the three ladies wept too. So melodramatic, can?! Hahahaha. Apparently, my mom said there's something behind all these. I will know it when the time is right. WOW! Just what could it be? Hehe. :) For now, I couldn't care less. One thing though, can someone feedback to the host that the food served are really sucky? OOPS! ;)

I wonder why the bride & groom looked at that direction?

After spending almost 45 minutes at the event, we finally made a move. Since everyone had worn something nice, we couldn't just "waste" it and went home straight, right? So there came the impromptu plan to visit my granny's sister @ Sembawang. After all, it has been quite some time since we last visited her. She stays with her daughter & family in a four-storey condominium called Euphony Garden. The whole area is serene and tranquil but I hate getting in there. The security guard just had to question so much! I know it's for safety reason but please, stop interrogating me like I am going to bomb the whole area! Finally, we were "released" after being handed with this shit sheet...

...which needs to displayed in the car at all times (while in the premise). -_-"

The apartment is very small but extremely comfy. I love it to bits! Every single time I visit, I will never fail to snap some pictures. Then again, seeing my face every single time is more than boring thus, I need a victim! Who else if not my aunt? Haha. Blame her for having a makeover done specially for the event. It's not like she's the one getting married! Haha. As usual, to not "waste", I snapped some pictures of her. What do u think? I feel she looks "scary" with this choice of make up. Gee!

Sitting gracefully, eh? (u will laugh if I tell u why! :P)

Yay or Nay?

Feeling "Datin"!

Lazing around in the apartment is so heavenly till it's hard for me to bid goodbye. Haha! Obviously I've got no choice right? Still, I do not want the lovely day to end. After all, it was drizzling by then. I need a warm and nice soup. How about Tom Yum? Haha. So yeah, off we went to Bilal Restaurant which is conveniently located at the junction in front of the condominium. I actually love all the foods served there but I hate seeing the price! Exorbitant is all I can say. Hehe.

Strange choice of name, no?

Lovely Ladies

Awww... So Sweet! :P

We really ate to our hearts' content. I recalled my aunt saying that she wanted to give us all a treat again someday so I teased her about treating us today. Without much hesitation, she just agreed. Awesome!!! We also had this Jumbo Satay set but I forgot to snap a picture of it. The sumptous cuisine just attracted much of my attention away. Gosh! Oh yeah, I also forgot to snap the dessert which were a "rich" eclair & cream puff. Sigh. Overall, it's just yummy! Look at the total bill! I think it's insane but it's so not a big deal for my aunt. In fact, she always have a budget of SGD100-SGD140 when she is treating us (she told me). Lucky us, I guess! :D

The main course

Tea & Juices

Lucky number, 88! :)

With a really bloated tummy, we walked out of the restaurant with the waiter and waitresses thanking us non-stop. OMG I love the service! To think they don't even charge anything for that! They deserve the 10% more than any other restaurants, ok! Still, I don't mind not paying any. Hehe!!! Oh yeah, did I mention they even had parking lots reserved for their customers? I truly adore the royalty treatment, can? This is what I call Going the Extra Mile for Service (GEMS)! Ok I'm going nuts! ;)

Simply, today was just fantastic. I wish it didn't end but as the saying goes, "all good things will eventually come to an end". Sigh. Still, memories could just be relived through all the pictures snapped, no? Haha. Alrighty, till another lovely time together, Adios Amigos!

P/S: I can't wait to leave for Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday! Got to do all the confirmation (of my reservation) by today. Woohoo!!! :D

Niz

SOS Crews

Yippee! Thanx to Roxy, I finally get the pictures taken on Kaiyi's last day @ SOS. Most of us were present, thus we have to really cramp up in the Ops Room! Hahahaha! Love the pictures! :D

P/S: To Kaiyi, all the best in your future endeavours! Will surely miss the good times, man! ;)

New Release?

What's the best way to overcome boredom in the wee hours of a nice Friday morning? Online window shopping of course! Haha. Gosh, I hate seeing things going on discounts @ eBay. I really have to control my expenditure. Hehe. Anywho, I also browsed through eLuxury to look at Louis Vuitton products on sale. Guess what I saw? The Damier Canvas Spencer! Gosh, is this rare or what? How come nothing much has been said about it, huh? I suppose it's quite a new release...

LVoe it or not?

Here are the specifications:
* Damier canvas with smooth leather trim
* Shiny golden brass hardware
* Adjustable canvas shoulder strap with Louis Vuitton signature and link attachments
* Rear zipped pocket
* Flap top with zipped pocket
* Interior pockets and protected compartment for laptop
* 15.3"x 12.1"x 3.9"
* Made in France

Tagged at an exorbitant price of USD1,530 or approximately SGD2,087, I think it's just not worthit for a laptop bag! The more popular Bastille retails even lower! So yeah, I say nay to this. Hahahaha! Still, it does look stunning. Imagine me carrying it! Oh, dream on! :P

P/S: Maybe the TBIW team would want to consider purchasing this, the next time round? Haha! Hey, even the Bastille would be nice! :D

P/S/S: A big thank you to FALB from louisvuittonlover.blogspot.com for answering my question regarding the Spencer. Oh, thanks for posting a picture of the interior too!. I've been searching for it! ;)

Yayness!

Despite being down with a terrible flu and feeling so useless, I'm glad that something put a big smile on my face today! Guess what? Finally, the "That Bag I Want (TBIW)" team decided to add more designer bags to their collections - mostly Louis Vuitton! Woohoo! Every single chosen piece is so awesome! All the hot favourites are included. Perhaps, many people chose these bags during their recent survey. That includes me! Hahaha! So yeah, below is the list of 10 brand new bags scheduled for release (real) soon.

Ergo Signature Pleated Hobo, Signature Stripe Floral Tote & Vernis Sunset Boulevard

1) LV Vernis Sunset Boulevard (Red)
2) LV Monogram Batignolles Horizontal
3) LV Damier Hampstead MM
4) LV Monogram Abbesses Messenger Bag
5) LV Damier Naviglio Messenger Bag
6) LV Monogram Galliera PM
7) LV Monogram Palermo PM
8) Coach Madison Clutch Bag (Green)*
9) Coach Signature Stripe Floral Tote (Pink)
10) Coach Ergo Signature Pleated Large Hobo

Galliera PM, Hampstead MM, Palermo PM, Batignolles Horizontal, Naviglio & Abbesses

My dream of carrying around an authentic Louis Vuitton bag may just be realised soon when they release the Monogram Abbesses Messenger & Damier Naviglio Messenger bags! So far, in my opinion, these are the only two that suits guys well. I just can't wait to rent them if the price is right! :D Oh by the way, thank you Hannah for the lovely reply! Appreciate it much! :)

"Hi Nizam,

Thank you for your interest and when we read your blog about our website, we were so pleased and touched.

Regards,
Hannah"

One more thing, a very big congratulation to TBIW for getting a little publicity in last week's 8 Days magazine. Amazing! In the effort to gain even more publicity, they have already confirmed advertisements on Sunday Times and The New Paper (TNP) classifieds on 6 July and 9 July respectively. Great move there! All the best to the TBIW team. Come on people, support them! Make this concept extremely successful in Singapore. Weeee~

P/S: I am not paid by the TBIW team to post an entry about them on my blog. It's just from my great passion in designer bags that I voluntarily blog about them to bring awareness that this website exist. It is set up for locals and if the locals doesn't support them, then who will? Hehe!!! :D Once again, do visit them here:

P/S/S: The 1st bag scheduled to be released @ midnight is none other than the LV Vernis Sunset Boulevard (Red)!

Mid Week, Already?!

Hola! How's everything ya'll? Gosh, I can't believe it's already Wednesday! Time fly by so fast, no? Now, I'm really counting down to the day till I depart for Kuala Lumpur. Just 7 days away!!! ;) Meanwhile, my days were just fine. Working every day couldn't be more fun. There's lesser crowd on weekdays thus everything is more manageable. Don't even ask about weekends. I always feel like quitting there and then. Haha!

Speaking of quit, some of the SOS guys already left for good as they have to serve their National Service. A few others will be leaving soon for the same reason too. Sad to see them go but they've got no choice. Haha! I always have this thought of quitting too even though there's no solid reason. Weird, huh? If not for the fantastic colleagues, perhaps I'm gone sooner than u know. Hehe. SOS rawks!

Alright, as u can see from this post, I've got nothing much to blog about actually. Nothing interesting happen, so yeah. Looking forward to the weekend now! Oh by the way, Calvin, u take care ok! Sad to hear u're down with thyroid. Get well soon! :D

That's all folks!

Niz

First Step to Avant Garde?

~V E R S A C E~

Oh my god! I just can't believe my latest acquisition! Never in a million years have I dreamt of owning anything from Versace! Their collection is so beyond reach, can? It must have been my good luck to come across a website selling pre-owned items at such amazing prices! I really wasted no time in purchasing an authentic Versace Diver Uomo Wallet when it goes on a huge discount a few days back.

Say Hello to Medusa! :D

The wallet's rich brown colour really appeals to me at the first sight. Furthermore, the unique crocodile-skin design just adds to the exclusivity of the wallet. I doubt this wallet is made using crocodile skin but I love it nonetheless. The leather feels so soft and smooth. Words just can't describe the wallet. The best part? It has a number of compartments! 2 note holders, 6 card holders & 1 coin pouch. Not bad, eh?!

Inside view

Outside view

This three-and-a-half years old wallet shows very little sign of usage. In fact, I must say the condition is still pristine even after being kept for so long. I was told that the owner rarely use the wallet. Now, this is the part I love most. The price! Well, back in Dec 2004, this wallet retails for SGD379 but after a 30% discount, the owner got it at only SGD265.30. Woohoo! Expensive, no? Ok guess how much I got this wallet, then? A freaking SGD30 only!!! That is almost 80% off! I saved SGD235.50. Gosh, it's just unbelieveable! Even with depreciation, it will not have cost this dirt cheap, anywhere else. Weeee~

Just can't believe my eyes! :P

I vow to take good care of this wallet and use it for as long as I can. I really don't know where else to get good deals like this. A big thank you to interething.com! U guys rocks! Hahahaha! Their collections are really interesting and sometimes, out of the world! :P View all their listings, here:

Such a Shopaholic!

Wooohoo! I really have to learn how to control my expenditure! My cash flows out from my wallet & bank faster than the water from the tap! Haha. Seriously, I lost count of how much I've spent in total during this year's Great Singapore Sale. I'm getting pretty scared. I mean, by now, I really have gone way over budget! How do I curb my urge? Sheesh! With the GSS still having a long way to go, it's just not helping! Everywhere I go, I see huge discounts on everything. I thought, since I can save now, might as well splurge! Then again, what's the guarantee that I won't shop outside the sale period? GOD, help me!

Anywho, as many of you may have known (from the little snippet), I did splurge on another pair of shoe today. I don't know if I really need this shoe but I just love it! I've been wanting a pair like this (ok how many times have I said this when I saw something I really want? :P). Gee! Mom thought it was a bad idea to purchase another shoe (since I already bought a Converse shoe recently) but this deal is too great to miss out! Puma shoes rarely goes on huge sales. After some negotiation, I finally purchased the shoe! Mom paid using Visa first but I will definitely pay her back when my wage comes in (real soon)! Thanx mommy, love ya! :D

My 10th pair of shoes!

What I love most about the shoe is that it is made of dark brown suede material and it feels extremely comfortable on the inside! Maintaining the shoe may be a bit tideous (as said by the salesperson) but the shoe is guaranteed to last a long time! Tagged at only SGD39.90, I feel it's just worthit! Look at the detailings. Awesome!!! Oh yeah, the usual price of this shoe is actually SGD79.90. I saved SGD40! Woohoo!!

Look at the Puma in front! Cute, no?! :P

That's almost 50% off! Oh yeah, I wear US13! o_o

Now, to make sure the shoe have a prolonged life, I must be careful enough not to get the shoe wet. The suede can't come into contact with water. Gosh, with Singapore's very unpredictable weather, how can I be so sure my shoes won't be damaged sooner or later? Haiz. As such, I think I won't be wearing this shoe often but not to the extent of it being a white elephant. We'll see how long it will last... hehe! ;)

This is my current shoe collection. 3 of them are worn out! :(

Niz

Labels or Love?

Which one would u choose? Personally, I guess I want a bit of both. Ok maybe 60% Labels, 40% Love? Hahahaha! I truly love this song by Fergie! Have u ever heard so many Labels being mentioned in any other song? Not me. I wonder if they pay any "royalty" to the Labels...? Hmmm... Anywho, do immerse yourself in this lovely song - fit for most fashionistas! :P

Shopping for labels, shopping for love
Manolo and Louis, it's all I'm thinking of
Shopping for labels, shopping for love
Manolo and Louis, it's all I'm thinking of

I already know what my addiction is
I be looking for labels, I ain't looking for love
I shop for purses while I walk out the door
Don't cry, buy a bag and then get over it
And, I'm not concerned with all the politics
It's a lot of men I know I could find another one.

Oughta know that I'm always happy when I walk out the store, store
I'm guessing Supercalifragi-sexy, nothing to be playing with
I love him, hate him, kiss him, just I'm trying to walk a mile in my kicks

(Chorus)
Love's like a runway but which one do I love more
No emotional baggage, just replace it with Dior
Love's like a runway, so what's all the fussing for
Let's stop chasing them boys and shop some more

I know I might come off as negative
I be looking for labels, I ain't looking for love
Relationships are often so hard to tame
A Prada dress has never broken my heart before
And, ________
I'mma do the damn thing, watch me do the damn thing
Cause I know that my credit card will help me put out the flames
I'm guessing Supercalifragi-sexy, nothing to be playing with
I love him, hate him, kiss him, just I'm trying to walk a mile in my kicks

[Chorus]

Gucci, Fendi, Prada purses, purchasing them finer things
Men they come a dime a dozen, just give me them diamond rings
I'm into a lot of bling, Cadallic, Chanel and Coach
Fellas boast but they can't really handle my female approach
Buying things is hard to say
Rocking Christian Audigier, Manolo, Polo, taking photos in my Cartier
So we can't go all the way, I know you might hate it but
I'm a shop for labels while them ladies lay and wait for love

Fong Yin Kong Lam!

What? Kolam?! Haha! No no. Fong Yin Kong Lam simply means Welcome in Cantonese! Yups, that is the language most commonly used in Hong Kong. Now, what's the link? Well, once again, I visited the Tong Shui Cafe @ Changi Airport Terminal 2 to savour their authentic Hong Kong delicacies! The buffet spread really left me very much bloated!

Tong Shui Cafe

For only SGD18.88++, one can indulge in the wide variety of cuisines offered. If your stomach is big enough to hold everything, then by all means, order everything! I doubt anyone can do that though. Haha! Seriously, the Yum Cha is what I look forward most to. It's just beyond delicious! :D Next in the list must be the thick toast and also dessert. Simply irresistable! Woohoo!

Milo with Condensed Milk Thick Toast - "Disgustingly" Sumptous!!!

Our 1st course - Delicious!

Strawberry/Mango ice blended - Sinfully Rich!

Mango/Pomelo Snowy Mountain - Brain Freeze!

Well, my aunt suddenly had this craving to eat there once again after our last visit somewhere in mid May. I rejected the idea since I don't feel like splurging on food but she insisted and even offered to pay for me so what else? Off we went! :) Haha! Free food taste so much better! :P Thanx aunt for the treat! Weeee!

Aunt patiently waiting for the food ...

... while I just can't wait to indulge! :P

After what seems like the most satisfying lunch ever, we decided to go round Terminal 3 to get "the food digested". It's been quite a while since I last spend some quality times with her anyways, so yeah I really treasure the moment. While sitting down at the viewing gallery, we came out with a super crazy idea! That is, taking Qatar Airways (world's Top 10 flight) from Singapore to Jakarta solely for shopping and eating purposes. We will spend a whole week doing that before returning back to Singapore. Hahahaha! What a dream! I wish it can ever happen ... like NOW! :P

Totally satisfied! ;)

Overall, we just had a nice time. I promised to treat her in return, some day. I am still figuring out where. Any suggestions? :) Oh by the very way, look at this picture! Gosh, there must be hundreds of them! Extremely well arranged, no? This should come in handy for the 400+ SIA A380 passengers! ;D

Baggage Trolleys!!

Niz

Latest Acquisition!

Can u just see this coming, or what? Haha! With the Great Singapore Sale still on islandwide, how can a shopaholic like me resist every single temptation to spend? I know, stop reminding me that we should spend wisely blah blah blah. It's not that I am spending hundreds or thousands! I don't even spend more than 80 bucks at one go! So yeah, is that a good excuse or what? Haha!

Anywho, say hello to my latest bag! It's a lovely cream Lonsdale messenger! Frankly, I've always wanted a bag from this label but as usual, I just couldn't justify the steep price. Thanks a million to the GSS, I only have to fork out SGD27 for this gorgeous bag! Original price? A whopping SGD89+! That means, I saved 70%! Cool deal, huh? :D

I just have something for "perforated" bags! ;)

What a saving! :D

Well, I realise how Lonsdale is not well known or even well liked by many in Singapore but for heaven's sake, do take a look at their collection! They carry good quality merchandise at such affordable prices - especially now, with the sale! Having just celebrated its 2nd year in Singapore, Lonsdale really have so much to offer. I'm just impressed! ;)

The Powerful Lion!

For more information on Lonsdale London, do visit:
---> http://www.lonsdalelondon.com.au <---

P/S: Despite a minor flaw somewhere on the bag, I still adore it! I quickly dropped the idea of exchanging for another piece when I found out that this was the last one in stock! Weeee! :)

Simple Sunday

What a nice & sunny Sunday! I've been looking forward to today since halfway through the week. Why? Well, it's because I'm not working! That simply means I can spend my whole Sunday at home, doing absolutely nothing. Then again, that is doing something. LOL! Oh nevermind~

So, I woke up pretty early today despite the intention to sleep in. Got this rude awakening from the wedding site, next block. Apparently some prayers were being held but I just don't see the need of using a microphone! I recorded part of the session and was shocked to hear the verses being so clear and loud despite the distance. Imagine! Before long, dogs around the area started barking too! Haha! It lasted for a good hour before finally I can have some peace.

Anywho, I was too bored that I decided to help mom clean up her bursting wardrobe. While looking through her headscarves, I found one that she haven't worn in ages! It's really such a waste to chuck the scarf aside as it's really stunning & gorgeous!. It is heavily beaded and retailed around SGD120 years back. Wow! Actually my grandma bought the scarf due to "peer pressure" back then even when she dislike it. She almost gave it away when my mom came to the rescue! Ironically, now my mom don't even remember when the last time the scarf saw daylight! Haha. Gah! It's too "grand" to be worn just anywhere. Special functions never really come by so yeah, till then, the scarf will sit back in the cupboard until it is ever needed again. Awwww... :P

Next, I turn to my bursting collection of paper bags. What u see in the picture is only around less than 1/2 of what I currently have. There are many more in the store! I had to put this lot in my living room as I ran out of space! Sheesh. I really hate my hobby but I can't help it. Everytime I thought of throwing away some bags to make space, I always ended up dropping the idea. I just couldn't bear to part with any one of them! Awwww... :P

*Picture to be uploaded SOON!*

Soon, it was already afternoon. Me, grandma & mom already made a plan to visit my aunt at her home in Pasir Ris. So off we went. When we reached, the Pizza Hut she ordered also arrived. I wasted no time in indulging all the delicacies! Thanx Mak Ani for the treat! Weeee! Spent a good 5 hours there. I watched MTV, National Geographic and Travel & Living all the way. I'm so deprived, can? Mom just refuse to subscribe to SCV. Then again, I do think it will be a waste to subscribe since we're both not always at home. Hehe!

I really wonder how mom & grandma can keep on talking for the whole 5 hours. My mom in particular never really stopped. Gosh! At the very least, my grandma can still strike a pose for the camera while in the midst of a "discussion"! Look at mom, that's soooo candid, can? Haha! Overall, it was a very nice weekend. Truly well spent. Now, I am so looking forward to the whole week ahead. Working-my-arse-off time!! :D

Money, money, money...!

P/S: Happy _ _ Birthday & Happy Father's Day to my beloved bro, Abang Boy! All the best in everything for u, man! Take care! :D

Niz
