Euphoric Moments

Hi everyone!

How's life? Haha! I love asking people this question. Well, surely we have our ups and downs daily, right? Personally my days have been fine lately. Especially my weekends! ;) Gee, I wish those moments last forever. Haha! Here's what happened:

SaTuRdAY

I felt ultimate euphoria on Saturday! I went on a shopping spree @ Orchard with mom! Oh if u haven't known, retail theraphy is my favourite pastime. Haha! Now, going out with mom doesn't sound appealing yeah? What to do. I'm the only child so I need to accompany my mom lah. Haha! It's extremely worthit though. Omg it was like a rare sight to see my mom in tight jeans and platforms walking down Orchard Road. She's always busy with work! Anyways, our objective of going to Orchard was to find a blue bag for mom. So off we went from Centrepoint to Paragon in search for a suitable one. Much to my shock, mom already dislike the typical brands at those deparmental stores. Especially Bonia! No idea what happened. Maybe coz there's imitation now? Hmm... Moving along, at Paragon, she fell in love with a bag at the first sight. That was a rare moment I must say but guess what? It's a Calvin Klein Jeans bag! Gosh it's quite expensive ok and my jaw literally dropped to the floor when she actually bought it! But I was happy for her. After all, she said it's like a 'reward' for her after receiving a bonus recently. :D

Next came the happiest moment in my life. Sort of. Hehe. My mom knew I've been wanting a Crumpler bag for what seems ages. Co-incidentally, I'm in desperate need for a school bag. So she worked out a deal with me before heading to the boutique. Guess I was too eager so I just agreed blindly. Wish she could have purchased the bag for me out of pure sincerity. Haha! Anywho within minutes, I found myself walking out of the Crumpler boutique with a new Skivvy (large)! Frankly the bag I bought was the cheapest and the most boring amongst all the larger bags. It's ok. So long as I own a Crumpler bag now! Yay! One thing striked off from my wishlist, finally! Haha! :D Wee! After more shopping and a hearty dinner @ Ayam Bakar Ojolali, we went home, all smiles! :)

SuNdAY

Work wasn't fine! I hate having to do baggage transfers @ the arrival area. This was all due to me having to lift extremely heavy luggages and throw them on the belt overhead (almost). If not done properly, I think I can break my backbone lah! To think that I'm not really covered with much insurance. Sheesh! Sometimes I regret working in this line but I have completely no idea why I still stick around. Haha! Anyways after work, I met with a buyer @ Tampines MRT. Gee her kids were so adorable. I love kids and I think they love me too. Haha! Thanx to this malay lady, I became instantly $30 richer. I really wonder why people actually buy really used items over @ Yahoo Auction. Haha! Oh wells, what do I care? Who am I to talk anyways? :P

After lunch at home, I went out to meet Winnie & Man at the National Library. Dane was suppose to meet too but he was stung by a bee on the way to the library (while riding). If that wasn't bad enough, he also almost got himself into a tragic accident. Sheesh! For more of what happened to him, please read his blog. Search Dane under my 'Lovely Ones' section. :) So, me, Winnie & Man did some "research" at the library for an hour or two before finally parting ways. Frankly, nothing much was done lah but we had a good time together. I didn't wanna go home early so I decided to walk round Bugis Junction and Bugis Village. Bought some stuffs along the way. I really must learn how to control! Sheesh! I can spend like nobody's business and it's scary! Haha! So after feeling satisfied, I then went to Bedok Interchange and went round the Pasar Malam. Guess what I bought? Another bag! Haha! But this is budget. Only $10! :P It looks like a bag I've been wanting all along so I just grab it lah. Hehe. Another thing striked off from my wishlist! Oh guess what? I only ate breads and more breads throughout the day! Yay I survived without rice! Oh wth!

MoNdAy & TuEsDaY

My weekdays are back to normal. Nothing much interesting happen so yeah no point talking about it. Haha! I'm just worried for my BZF CA this thursday. So far Chapter 1 made its way into my brain now but there's still 2 more chapters to go. Sigh. Another thing is, my TPS project is only 7 days away from the deadline but my group still haven't really finalise on what to do. Quite stressful lah thinking about all these. Oh wells, life still goes on. Alrighty, till next time! :D

20-07-2007!

Hola peeps!!

Time for yet another update from me. I simply felt the need to update coz it's 20-07-2007! Not that there's anything special, just love the unique date. Was euphoric for nothing on 20-06-2006 last year and definitely looking forward to 20-08-2008! That is, if I'm still around. LOL! God willing. Alrighty moving on. How was u peeps' week? Mine? Well, basically the same for the first few days of the week. School's not really a bore now as the lessons have resumed. Yay!? Haha. Especially for TPS! Wow I really love Ms Ema's way of teaching. She goes through one by one but still kept moving on from a unit to another. With her experiences and all, I now have a clearer picture of what the unit is trying to say. There's too much facts to remember but everything's been made easy. Now, why do I sense some weird thinkings? Haha. Please peeps, don't have the wrong idea about why I'm praising Ms Ema so much. I want to hear nothing. Haha! Those who attended her class regularly couldn't deny this fact right? Ok hush. ;)

Well well well, yesterday, my day started out real bad! I was so pissed off that I woke up late. I was so late that I have no choice but to take cab to school. It cost me $11.60 ok! For nothing! ARGH! Anyways, after TPS, I attended the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM) and ITE College Central that was held at the auditorium. All Events classes were present. Dane and Bell were the emcees. Congrats to them for having the courage to speak in public. With that said, I still think dane could have done better if he wasn't that nervous. Haha. Still, I believe the event was a success! Yay! After the ceremony, some refreshments were served for us and it was delicious! Quite a variety too. Oh free foods are always nice! :P After lunch, we headed to NACLI (somewhere at South Bouna Vista) to attend a leadership course. I think PAYM sponsored the course so we had no choice but to attend. If anyone backs out, they need to pay some reimbursement cost. Sheesh!

Oh wells, initially the course doesn't sound appealing at all to many ISGians cause we're not really looking forward to mingle with the peeps from ISF and ISH. In fact I was one of the peeps who really wants to back out. U know what? I'm glad I changed my mind. Haha! It wasn't bad at all! We played some ice breaking games and ended up with groups consisting of all classes. We then participated in a few activities as a group of strangers. As usual, we need to strategise and communicate efficiently, thus that's where the mingling takes place. Funny thing is, we hardly look at each other in the beginning but ended up hugging each other towards the last activity! Haha! It was all worthit. Personally, I made new friends from ISF especially. ;) After the activity, we took the chartered bus and alighted @ Bouna Vista MRT. Wow, the crowd was insane! I can't be bothered to squeeze in the MRT. Ended up, I took a cab with Wei Lun. Dropped him off @ Lavender before heading to my block. I offered to pay first as he didn't have enough cash with him. I was shock to see the total fare when the ride ended! A whopping $23.90!! Wow, this is like my first time paying so much for a ride. Haha! Blame the traffic jams islandwide! -_-" It's ok coz Wei Lun paid almost half of it already. ;)

So Today, gawd! Can't it be more worst?! See, yesterday was already so tiring for me that I ended up sleeping @ 9pm! Woke up @ 1.30am only to realise school will start at 8am. I'm sure if I were to sleep again, it'll be hard for me to wake up @ 6.30am so I spent the night watching tv, updating blog/friendster. Haha! Basically wasting time. So yeah, went for OFA only to know Mr Liau doesn't want to start on a new lesson. GREAT! Next on the list, no PIE lesson as Mrs Karen is having a course. There's BZF but it'll only start more than an hour after OFA. After all, there's only some quizzes to be done which I'm so not in the mood to do. I rather study on my own. Speaking of which, I'm still yet to do so. HEHE!

So, me, Farah, Fareena & Luqman decided to have our breakfast @ McD. We ate and talked for about an hour or so before finally parting ways. We never talked so much before! I don't know what triggers the conversation but all I recall, we talked about various topics! From ghost to religion to accidents... on and on! Haha! It was fun though. After that we went home. Far tagged along with me! I still can't believe she's not taken a public bus for 6 months now! Worst still she made it sound like she's taking a plane! Haha! Sheesh! Slacked at home throughout the day before finally visiting my grandma @ night. I actually only agreed to visit her cause she have cooked my favourite dish. Haha! Baddie me! Alrighty I guess that's about it. Looking forward to the weekends as I'll be heading to Orchard both on Sat & Sun! Weeee! Take good care peeps! :D

Updated - Finally!

Hola peeps!!

Wow, it seems is ages since I last posted anything! I'm sorry u guys! It's difficult for me to blog even though my com is in my room 24/7. Haha! Most of the time, if I'm not caught up with things, I'm just plain lazy. Of coz, vice versa. How to blog then? Haha! Oh such lame excuses I know. Oh wells, what matters, I'm back now and I hope it's for good. My passion to blog is still there. Just that it isn't all burning and raging right now. Oh crapz!

Moving along, I must say the Vietnam Immersion Programme (VIP) was an ultimate success! Despite the heavy rain almost every day, everything still went on smoothly. We visited every places listed in the initiary - even more! The exchange rate was SGD1 = 10,000 d(ong). U think that's little? U can easily get two bottled drinks and two choc breads! Haha! Life was like in heaven there. Vietnam was almost totally the opposite of what I pictured it to be. I wasn't expecting a nice hotel, nice foods, nice sceneries and so on but I was definitely proven wrong. I was even damn shocked to see high end boutiques there (LV, Gucci, Tods etc.)! Vietnam definitely is developing fast. Shopping was insane at the Bhen Than Market! Everything is under one roof. From souvenirs to local delights to imitation non-authentic goods, be prepared to shop till u drop! Just be good at haggling and u can find urself craving for more. I will never ever forget that experience. It's so frustrating and exciting at the same time. Haha!

There's so much for me to talk about Vietnam or Saigon to be exact. U will probably fall asleep if I list them all here. Mrs Tan said I can share my experience some time next week with the whole class so I guess I'll describe more in detail then. ;) It's a great experience overall and was such an eye opener for me. For those who perhaps get the chance to visit Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) next time, u definitely won't regret the trip. It's worthit. In fact, I think it's better than visiting Paris or New York and stay in damn expensive hotels (hinted at the tai tai teacher! :P).

In addition of me experiencing a totally new country, I also get to experience how it's like being in a budget airline!!! Haha! Jetstar, well, I may or may not recommend that flight to anyone. Surprisingly I fit the seat but the leg room is not much bigger than sitting in a bus. 2 hours is enough to give me cramps. Especially on the return trip where I was cooped up by the window. Haha! Funny thing was, the steward and stewardess were also "budget". Really! They use their own pants, their faces are nothing more than ur neighbour next door and their attitude is so Singaporean. Sheesh! How unglam! Haha! In fact, one of the steward told me that if I were a little smaller in size, I would have make the cut to be their steward. What? Urgh no thanx. Anyways, how can he say such a thing to a passenger? What if I'm offended in some ways? Haha!! But the job's truly is more relaxing as they don't serve refreshements blah2. They only walk up and down the aisle with their trolley full of Jetstar goodies and hope people will buy. Once someone shows interest, they will "force" them to buy. Haha! In fact I was coaxed into buying two of their similar souvenirs. Luckily I wasn't easily taken in and ended up buying just one. A freaking small miniature jetstar plane already cost 7 bucks. They're very extremely good at doing business and making up for the loss they suffered by operating a budget carrier. Haha! If not for the bumpy ride, I may have consider budget carriers (Jetstar one of them) for my subsequent trips anywhere. . . *shrugs*

Aite life back in Singapore is pretty much the same. Was damn sick for 5 days on the last week of school holidays. Felt so useless! I did nothing. Sigh. What to do right? Btw, school has reopened for 4 days now and it's not fun at all! Such a total waste of time. There's nothing to look forward to nowadays (except meeting friends). Classes gets more boring, teachers coming to class late etc. For all u know, teachers always have courses to attend and I always wonder, what on earth are those for? To produce better quality teachers? Right. We're not learning much each day ok! I really feel like I'm in kindergarten! Worst still, nursery! Go school, do own stuffs, eat then go home. Sigh! I never complain so much about school before but I think it's about time. Everyone agrees anyway. Oh but luckily we have a new teacher for TPS now! All hail Ms Ema Yusof! Haha! She rox to the max lah. Chatted with her after class today and I just felt we connected (strictly on a teacher to student basis!). Looking forward to all her classes now. At least hopefully, TPS can make me "come back" to the school. I can drift away if there's no pulling force ok. It happened before but I really don't want it to happen again. . .

Oh what a long post! Haha! Common for me when I don't post for a long period of time. Hmm, what else? Well, about me and family, I gave up like totally. Latest mom told me, she wanted her husband to come back to the family so that she can control him in some way. I don't get what my mom is thinking! Man, after all that's done? Fine I understand the trouble if divorce were to take place but this idea is crappy! Worst still, she expect me to "befriend" her husband and make everything be normal again. Is she kidding me? That's just something insane! I can never picture us as a happy family again (not like it ever was anyways). I don't know and don't care if what I did can be classified as rude to my mom but I told her straight that I'm not forgiving her husband for all that he's done and that I will never ever be on good terms with him again. My mom can have him for all she wants but I don't need him, ever! I just hope that my mom will still be around when I need her, though. Oh what a life! Sounds like too much to bear at just a young age of 17+ eh?! Oh wells. . .
