Re-Book In
 Alrighty everyone, I'm gonna re-book in to Pulau Tekong, later at 0700hrs. I hope this time round, no other issues will arise and that I can resume my Basic Military Training as per normal. I won't say I'm fully recovered just as yet but at least, I don't feel so sick. Part of me is really looking forward to life in Tekong. Haha. Well, all the best to me and I'll see ya when I see ya, aite? Take good care everyone... :)
P/S: I'll book out again, tentatively on 6th August 2009.

Surprise Surprise!!!
 I'm back home from Pulau Tekong after being in there for only 12 hours!!! Hahaha... No, I'm not home sick nor am I exempted from undergoing Basic Military Training. Guess what? I was sent home because I'm down with a high fever (above 38 deg c). Oh man, I really have no idea how this all happened. I rarely, almost never get fever but now, I'm down with it. Strange eh? The big question is, why me? Haiz... :(
 Anyways, I was instructed by my section sergeant to rest well at home and also consume the medication given by the medical centre. Everything must resume as per normal on Monday (if my health permits). On one side, I'm pretty happy to get this little freedom as it's considered a rare opportunity but on the other hand, I'm very much worried that I'll be left way behind. I'm sure the rest of my section mates would have learnt a whole lot of things over weekend! I so need to catch up fast... I hope I can do it... :)
Never thought I would experience all these but I believe, there's something behind all happenings. God knows best. ;) Alright people, pray for my speedy recovery... Thankies! :D

National Service
 Finally, after so many days of counting down, the day I fear most is here! Today, I will be officially enlisted for National Service. Since I'm posted to Army under PES C, I will be serving 7 weeks of Basic Military Training @ Pulau Tekong before I move on elsewhere. I must be kidding if I say I am really ready to face everything but since there's no way out, I might as well go through it and get it done and over with, ASAP. Hehe! I just hope I am able to handle all the stress and also make good friends in there. All I need from U guys is some words of encouragement and preferably, a prayer for my well being. I don't know when I'll get the chance to update my blog again so all I can say is, I'll see ya when I see ya! Take good care, everyone! :D

Even More Meetups!
My oh my... I can't believe this! I've been out and about meeting so many people since last week till I felt extremely exhausted! Hahahaha... But still, I'm glad I'm remembered by many and I appreciate the time they set aside just for me. :) No words can describe how thankful I am to have met all these wonderful people and how much I treasure every single one of them. :)
On Tuesday, I met up with some of my close BMC friends for a quick dinner cum chill out session. The last time I saw Fatheen & Guan Fong was December last year, so just imagine my excitement! Haha. I've met Nisaa recently and I've always been meeting Husna but well, I'm still excited to meet them too! :P Anywho, we decided to have dinner @ Pastamania even though Nisaa & Fatheen were practically clueless about what's being served, there. After taking a long time to decide, they finally placed their orders and soon enough, we were indulging in all the good food.
 We spent more than an hour in the restaurant. Apart from eating, we did a little bit of catching up with each other and of course, took a couple of pictures for memory sake. Hehehe! After we're done, Guan Fong made his way back home while the rest of us walked round Tampines Mall & Century Square. Soon enough, we too parted ways and we hope to meet again, real soon. :D Thanx U guys for making the outing, successful! ;)
 Now on Wednesday, I met up with my god sis for a quick lunch @ Tampines Mall. The last time I met her was a couple of months back so I really missed her loads! We initally decided to have lunch at Food Culture but immediately changed the plan when we realised that the place would be jam-packed with people due to the lunch hour. We then decided to dine in Swensens (again for me) to take advantage of the ongoing 1 for 1 promotion. :)
 We're glad we made the right choice! We really had a good time in the restaurant. We sat there for a quite while too. There's soooo many things to talk about! Hahahaha... After lunch, we went round Tampines Mall & Century Square (again for me) before finally walking back to my god sis's place. After parting ways and almost making her cry buckets (coz she claimed she'll miss me loads), I continued walking to the nearby bus stop to board the express bus to Orchard. Yes, I just have to visit Orchard for one final time... Hahahaha!

I Passed!!!
 Wow, I'm still in a huge shock!!! Guess what everyone?! Thanx to all of your support, I've successfuly passed my Traffic Police Driving Test, today! That means, I now have a driving license!!! OMG OMG I really can't believe this! I'm extremely euphoric now. Hahaha! What's better, I only got a total of 8 demerit points! That's just insane!!! It's either the Traffic Police was just kind towards me or I really had not done much mistake but that really doesn't matter. What matters most now, I've done my mom proud and her ultimate wish for me to drive her around have been fulfilled! :D I am really speechless... Thank U mom, Thank U Allah. :) I appreciate and treasure everything.....

Second Time Dining Out
Yes, this is the second time I managed to dine out with Vernon. It's also the "final" time I'm going out with him, for now. I'm quite sad as I felt like I've just started to bond with him more when suddenly, I have to be away from him for quite some time. :( While we may still meet again someday, it definitely won't be the same as the previous weeks. Oh wells, that's life...
 Anywho, today, we headed to Bugis Junction to have a lovely lunch at Swensens. As all of U know by now, Swensens is currently having a "1 For 1 Lunch Treat" promotion whereby U just have to order any main course and get the 2nd one for FREE! Obviously the price have to be equal or lower than the one ordered. Hehe. Since the offer is THAT good, we decided to splurge a little by ordering these delicacies... :)
 We were beyond euphoric with the good food! It's been ages since I last had a great lunch like this so I definitely treasured the moment. Haha! Thanx V for suggesting Swensens. We would have splurged more if we decided to dine to at Fish & Co! :P Anyways, after the extremely filling lunch, we stopped by InterContinental's washroom (which is superb) before snapping some pictures at the heavenlyyyy lounge area.
 We then made our way to Orchard to do more window shopping. Hahaha! We went to Isetan Scotts, DFS, Far East Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Paragon, Takashimaya, Wisma Atria, ION Orchard and finally, Liat Towers. ;) I was soooo tempted to spend and spend but I controlled the urge and successfully left Orchard, empty handed. Well, not really but still, those are just necessities... Hehe! I'm extremely loving the Louis Vuitton boutique at ION! Don't U? I've been inside and it's just impressive. I wish to head there again when all the boutiques have opened. Weeeee~
 P/S: Vernon, thanx a whole lot for everything. I promise we'll be going around again when I have the time. I just don't know when though.... Hehehehe... Meanwhile, take good care, aite? ;)

Latest Acquisition - Diesel Shoes

Remember the song New Shoes by Paolo Nutini? I didn't like it all but I immediately thought of it when I was in the midst of paying for my latest acquisition. Hahaha! Yeps, as much as I try to refrain from spending so much this GSS, I still do. But, at least I bought everything at a really discounted price! :P Yes, the GSS may not be a big deal but how can one resist such incredible offers? Hehehe...
Still, one have to really search high and low for good bargains and never only focus on the big stores. Guess where I got this pair of Diesel shoes from? No, not from the boutique but from a store called "Famous Brand" located @ Capitol City Hall. I rarely enter the store but look, when I do, I leave with a true gem. Hehe!
 I don't know what made me purchase the shoe actually (since I already own so many pairs and don't need another) but I'm glad I did. First and foremost, I fell in love with the colour. It's in denim stripes and cognac. The shoe really reminds me of the Mulberry Taylor Tote! Of course it would be "too much" to carry the bag with the shoe, though. Hahaha! Secondly, I'm also in love with the price! Guess what? The original retail price was SGD139 but I only paid SGD39!!! How insane can that be? Tell me how can I resist? Haha. Who cares if it's from the past season. A steal is still a steal, no? :D
 I really can't stop admiring the shoe. It's just nice to my eyes! :) What do U think? Hehehe....

Latest Acquisition - Samsung ES55
What? A new digital camera, again? Didn't I just bought one a couple of months back, U ask? Well, yes. But, I doubt anyone knows what happened to that camera of mine, right? Haha. Guess what? That lovely camera somehow decided to take a plunge in the hot spring @ Bandung and immediately went into a "coma" after the incident. I was extremely speechless when I saw the camera in that pitiful state. Nothing I did could revive it fully. A few weeks after letting it rest, I once again try to do something about the camera but to no avail. It had left me for good now... A major operation could be done but I can't afford the cost. To get a new camera is so inevitable... So here it is, presenting my new love, the ES55...

Quick Chill
 Without me realising, it's the weekends once again. Woohoo! This simply mean, booking out days for Iz! Hehehe... To have a little freedom while serving for the nation is still better than having no freedom at all, right? :) So as usual, who else does he spend time with if not with the besties? Hehehehe. Yeah... the besties met up again today to have a quick chill at Coffee Bean, E-hub PaRis. ;)
 Huz was really elated to see Iz with the "botak" head. No idea why! Hahahaha. Probably coz she never see him in that state, before? I have, so it's not a big deal. Anywho, we had a good time laughing the night away in the cafe while waiting for the rain to subside. Of course, equipped with Iz's digital camera, we snapped a whole lot of pictures! :)
 I'm so gonna miss moments like these when I enter National Service real soon as I may not book out on the same day as Iz, thus, reducing the chance of us meeting on weekends. Well, maybe things will be normal once again after our passing out parade. Till then, hang on Huz!!! Hahaha...
