Super Mixed Feelings!

Hola everyone!

I'm gonna start my post with something that made me smile from ear to ear! Haha. Well, last Saturday, I went to the Chingay City Jam @ City Hall. Was there from 11pm to around 3am. Woohoo! The performances by various groups were entertaining but nothing beats the St James Power Station DJ mix. Everyone went wild on the dance floor. I joined in, no doubt. Haha! Finally, I get the feel of 'clubbing'. Sheesh, so deprived, aren't I? Oh wells, there's awalys a first time for everything. Anyways here's two photos taken there courtesy of www.nightlife.sg
Spot the familiar faces!!! ;)

Ok, that aside, I'm still feeling stress over my BZC presentation. I have no freaking clue how I'll perform this Thursday. Heck, I don't even know whether the topic 'Middle Eastern Music' is the right one for me. On one hand, I felt what I've researched is sufficient but on the other, I don't think it's enough. Then again, it's only a 3 minutes presentation. Sigh. As if that is not enough, the exam stress will kick in real real soon. Imagine, the first paper is on 10th March! I'm yet to revise and I am freaking out! Must get good GPA!! Haiz. I just hate having to memorise the whole book but it must be done .... soon! Nizam, do not procrastinate again please!

Now, how I wish that after all these stress, I can just unwind somewhere nice. I've had this plan of having a quick getaway in Kuala Lumpur. during the upcoming term break. I will be euphoric even if I only get to spend a single day there, shopping of course. I have the budget. In fact, I double checked with mom a few days back and she agreed. But guess what, mothers are so unpredictable isn't it? Just yesterday, she have to make me feel so down when she told me the plan may be cancelled due to budget and time constraint. I was like WTH? Mothers are capable of ruining everything with just a single sentence. I tried talking things out but she ignored me. That hurts me more ok! GAH! It's so unfair that I just feel like crying. . . :(

Patrick Cox Rox!

Woohoo!! Like finally, I got the bag I've been wanting, even if it means that I have to fork out a whopping $66! Well, not exactly the model I wanted though but I guess substitution just doesn't harm. Haha! Frankly, I am never willing to splurge on just another sling bag (especially if it is of a never-heard-before brand or even brandless) but this time round it's a different story. It's a freakin Patrick Cox bag for heavens's sake! God knows how long I've been wanting another bag from that brand!

The "scout-like" monogram logo just grabbed my attention since I got my first PC (replica) bag around last 2 years or so. Haha! Well, it is not that popular in Singapore I suppose but it's a renowned brand in Japan and Hong Kong. It's now even more popular in Paris! Weee! Sadly, I don't think my bag is Authentic. Whatever it is, as long I have the bag, I couldn't care less of anyting else. Haha! I feel ultimate euphoria once more! Oh btw, I found a matching wallet on yahoo auction but it cost 100 buckeroos due to its rarity and authenticity. Sigh, if only I can afford the wallet. . .
View it here: http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i::256197764

Thanx Farrr and Farah for choosing the bag for me. Appreciate it loads. Gee, I can go mad if I were to really shop @ Far East Plaza! Haha. Anyways, Farah bought Dayan an engraved ring ($22)!! How sweet can that be? Sigh, lucky him. Farrr on the other hand, of all things, bought 3 girl boxers @ 18 bucks. Hahahaha! Had a nice time together with them. Hope there's a next time yeah but of coz I can't be the one spending so much again! Hehe. . . Plain weird. Me & Farrr were suppose to help Farah choose a suitable gift for Dayan but ended up, we shop! XD

P/S: Farrr, moms are weird! Instead of nagging, my mom practically adored that bag! Furthermore, she almost guessed the price right and just kept silent about it. Sheesh! -.-"

Woohoo!

Hey there!

How was your CNY long holiday? Mine was extremely tiring but fun at the same time! 4 days of working was enough to fill my time. Haha! Omg I still can't believe the crowd in Sentosa! There were mighty long queues at all entry points. Wow, it really looked like a "quick getaway" for most Singaporean. Haha! Thank god for our staff transport. Else not, no one gets to work on time! I was oblivious about the transport initially so on the first day, I waited for almost 45 mins just to board the express train. It's total insane. Since I've only been on the island for less than half a year, I wondered if it was the same situation last year. Hmm? But I do hear that Sentosa faces overcrowding this year but the amazing thing is, the island is capable of holding so many visitors! And of course, Sentosa became rich instantly. Haha!

Anyways, moving on, here are some photos for ur viewing pleasure. There's the hampers I gave my neighbours, the gifts I received in return and the yu sheng & "bak kwa" I had for my own "reunion dinner". Haha! Gong Xi Gong Xi!!!

So yeah. Oh wait, Farrr & Farah, jadi per shopping besok? Haha! Toodles!

Niz

Once Again...

An update! Kuhl or what? Bleargh!

Yeah I know I have been MIA for almost a month now. Hectic life really gets the better of me. After all, my com only came back from servicing like last week. I meant the lappie. My desktop com is "officially" dead so I had to do some servicing to my lappie as it now functions as my home com. Mom was low on budget so can't possibly get a new desktop com in the near future but this lappie should do fine. :)

So yeah, gosh. I have so much to say but I don't know where to begin! Haha! Hmmm... Why not, firstly, a big shoutout to Iz & Nul for making yesterday a success! The Seoul Garden outing wasn't that bad yeah? Purple rawks! Haha. Do u guys realise how many pairs of eyes looked at us just coz we have the 'same colour' dressing code? Haha! Making a statement or what? Sheesh! Erms, if I have to be frank though, I think I'm like totally ready to not visit SG again until eons ahead. Apart from the sushis (which isn't really nice anyways), the marinated meat menu never change. It's like since 2007?! Haiz. We shall save and indulge @ either Sakura International or Family Buffet International next time. Extremely scrumptious I tell u! Haha! But no Nul, not for ur birthday... Too serious too soon babe. :P

Life @ Sentosa or rather SOS itself, well, pretty much still the same. Bonded well with the rest of the crew now and it feels sad that a handful of them are slowly but surely quitting. Why must all good things come to an end? Haiz. I reckon this have some links with the management and not based purely on their wants but still, I rather keep my mouth shut. While I can, I will continue working @ SOS. Speaking of which, I am like working throughout the Chinese New Year, can? While so many people including Iz goes for a long holiday, I am working every single evening from 5.45 to 10.45pm. Sheesh! I ain't complaining much coz like duh, money rolls in but it will be tiring despite it being only 5 hours. I hope I do not get deployed at Gallery or Concourse. Sigh. Such a killer! Haha! :D

What else? Oh yeah! CNY is so near. In fact tomorrow is the reunion dinner! Now, why am I so excited? LOL!. I have no idea but I am plain weird. I felt like "celebrating" too. Thus, I bought the Yu Sheng & Vegeterian Bak Kwa to get the feel. Can't wait to eat tomorrow!!! Hehe. Hmm... gave my two closest chinese neighbours a handmade CNY hamper each and they are more than happy I guess. I believe they will in return give the 'lukan' and hongbao! At least $10? LOL! I'm not expecting anything really and neither am I money face but who doesn't like receiving anything? We give and take much, no? :P

Finally, I'm still stressed up with my BZC presentation. Need to talk about Anything Asian. Sounds simple, but what? Typical topics like food, culture and so on seems so common. By the way, little did I know that the Middle East is also part of ASIA! Kewl!? Haha! I was so wanting to talk about sushis & sashimis but it seems there are more faster people. No two topics can be repeated unless there's no way out. Things does happen u know. ;) Anyways, what if I talk about Arabic music? Belly dancing to be exact? Sounds nice but I sorta fear I can't really get that much facts. It gotta be wowwing ok! Now, isn't this stressful? Sigh. Ideas oh ideas, where have u gone... ? I I I i i i deas......

P/S: Happy Birthday to Sharie, Roslyana & Rauf!! Have a blast aite?

Niz
