Yes, as the title suggests, I'll be talking about doughnuts! It used to be such a hit some time back if memory serves me right but in any case, the craze is back!! I'm sure as of now, everyone is aware of doughnuts parlour popping up islandwide. My only concern is, will this trend fade sooner than we know? Let's just rewind to one or two years back when the 'Rotiboy' bread was such a craze. Similar to now, back then, people were queueing for hours in order to get hold of the freshly baked coffee bread with a butter filling. Now, where has all the outlets gone too? Even certain Paparotti outlets closed down. This shows that everything last for the moment and once consumers get bored of it, that's the end of a business.

There u go. Keep this information handy so whenever ur craving comes, just head down to the nearest parlour to savour those delicacies! Anyways, still on the topic, I had my cravings yesterday. Well not really a craving actually. . . just. . . wanting to munch on some doughnuts. Haha. Of all places, I chose Dippin D0nut! Gee, look at their rating! 2 Star? Could it even get any worst? I wish I wasn't initially at Vivocity. To think I bothered queueing for at least 15 mins! Eventually I bought a half dozen for $6.50. Well, it's not really worthit coz their donuts are not scrumptious at all. Something NOT to die for. Serious! Get this, they are also too ambitious with their flavours as their new flavour is "Wassabi". It has gots strips of seaweed on it too. Gosh, how freakingly unappetizing is that?
I tried Summer House's doughnuts and they are way better! Such a pity they were only rated 3 star. I still remember how I always crave for Dunkin D0nuts when I was younger. Now, I guess it lost its popularity due to the never changing flavours which consumers easily grew bored of. Doughnuts sprinkled with rice chocolate is so outdated. Everyone is looking for a high quality doughnut at rock bottom price. This can only be found at the D0nut Factory! I'm yet to taste any coz I don't have time for a mind-boggling 3 or 4 hours super long queue. To think it started operating since months back! I really envy a friend of mine who has tasted quite a handful. Sigh. Nvm, I'll get it one day. N said she can queue with me so i say, "WHY NOT?" :)
Alright that's all. There's only doughnuts in my mind now. Need to get some rest first. Haha! Oh btw thanx to 8 Days (National Day issue) for the information.
