Finally ...
Weeee! As expected, I really had a Wonderful Wednesday! Well, not that anything great happened. It's just that I finally got the chance to meet my besties again after 2 months! Gosh! I tell u, I treasure MOST the time I spent with Huz & Iz. Moments like these are damn rare for us - now that we're really busy with our own lives. Huge thanx for making the meetup successful! :D Next one will definitely be months away! :(
Niz, Iz & Huz!Anywho, what made me more euphoric is of course the mini retail theraphy that took place. Seriously, I don't quite need it. I'm not stressed out or anything. It's just that I've been itching to splurge since the start of the Great Singapore Sale. After all, I do have some things in mind. Gosh, I lost count. I believe I've spent more than SGD70, yesterday! O_oIt all started out with us watching Kung Fu Panda at Cathay Cineleisure @ around 3pm. Thanx to Huz's NEBO card, our ticket prices were only SGD6 per person. Well, it was quite worthit. I love the storyline. Would rate it 3/5. Check it out, peeps! Oh before the movie though, we had lunch @ Long John Silver. What else, Peg Leg for everyone of course! Haha! ;) After the movie, we headed straight for The Heeren.
Us @ CineleisureMet Elias by chance after soooo long and I swear that guy haven't changed one bit. Haha! Envy his "hardworking" spirit though. Keep it up! :) After a quick chat, we quickly headed to Converse. I can no longer wait. I MUST purchase a pair of shoe while the GSS is still on. Last I splurged on shoes was also during the GSS season, last year. Somehow, Converse is the only label that carry my size at such low prices. Love them loads! :D While I'm at the boutique, I also decided to purchase a pair of Converse socks. Their socks are extremely comfy!
Charcoal Grey Converse Jack Purcell® & Light Grey SocksAfter the first splurge, I can't afford to go round Heeren as I fear I may further splurge unnecessarily, so off I went to Paragon. Still, I can't help to oogle at Fossil's display case which carry many attractive messenger bags. My favourite must be the White Perforated Messenger. I bet it cost a bomb, like most of their bags! Money money money! :)
Isn't it just gorgeous? Upon reaching Paragon, we decided to slowly stroll around. We stopped by boutiques to look at this and that but never purchased anything. Despite the sale, most of the items are still beyond our reach. Haha! What I could afford though was some food stuffs from Marks & Spencer and MUJI. I really crave for MUJI's especially! It's insane for me to spend SGD20+ on snacks alone. Haha!
Sinful Indulgence! We then headed to Lucky Plaza to take a short break @ McD. Next stop was Royal Plaza on Scotts. No, not to check in to a hotel room but to "visit" the 'Surau' (prayer room). I didn't know it even existed in the first place but since there's the means, a simple prayer won't harm, no? Hehe. Royal Plaza was stunning! It's like entering a palace! We just couldn't resist taking some pictures at the Lobby. I seriously was embarassed as many eyes did glanced at us. Haha!
Me, Myself & I!
Niz & Iz
Don't this look like a giant cake? Make a wish! :DIt was already 8pm when we entered Isetan Scotts. There were nothing nice there so up we went to the food area. We had KFC's Toasted Twister Wrap as dinner. I just love it while Iz thought it was just fine and Huz thought it was too spicy. Weird! So, does the "Orchard tour" ends here...?... NO of course! Haha. We went to Ngee Ann City after dinner and headed for Kinokuniya. Sadly, I don't have enough to splurge on magazines thus, I had to cap my budget to SGD6. With that, I managed to get a copy of 8 days and GLAM (Malaysia Edition) magazine. I'm really satisfied! Next, we went window shopping @ Takashimaya. What's the latest item to make a "glamorous" appearance @ TSC? Low and behold, it's the Paris Hilton label bags, of course! There were more than 5 different designs on sale. What do u think of the label? Haute or not? :|
Munch on some Mark & Spencer biscuits while reading Gossip magazines. Classic! ;)
Personally, I find the entire collection, WEIRD!Hmm... Finally, after going up and down Ngee Ann City and almost entering Guess (as it's the only boutique opened after 9.30pm), we decided to go home. Took bus all the way and was safely home by 11pm. Phew! What a long day we had! Despite feeling quite exhausted, we just had loads of fun. Still, above all, shopping was still more fun! Hahahaha! :P Oh by the way, there's a spread about Singapore Fashion Festival in Glam! Wait, isn't it June now? SFF was so in March/April! So backdated sia! XD
It's a full four page spread! Gosh! :D Regards,Niz
