Kuala Lumpur, Here I Come!!!
Hoorayyyy! OMG I still can't believe I'm in the midst of planning a trip to KL early next month! Hahahaha. I last went there in June 2006, ok! Actually, I was already itching to go there last March but mom didn't agree. Miraculously, she agreed this time round! I'm all smiles, obviously! Shopping time!!! ;)My family always travel at least twice a year (most commonly in June & December). Since 1998, we have visited many countries but usually, it's either Malaysia or Indonesia. Boring, I know. It's safe to say that I go Batam every year. Gosh! Haha. Of course of all the trip, I can never forget the one when I get the chance to visit Mecca & Medinah. I was only 12 years old then. Mom said, we shall relive those moments next year. Insya'allah (god willing)!Meanwhile, why I am super duper excited about the upcoming KL trip? Well, finally it's just me & mom travelling! I have always wanted that. For all the previous trips, there's my dad, my grandma and even my aunt! Sheesh! The trips are all on the "luxurious" scale. Big comfy hotel rooms, comfy coach, comfy restaurants, comfy this and that! Gawd! Might as well stay at home, no? Now, I just want something simple. In fact, I no longer want to just stay in the hotel room! I want to explore the country I'm visiting! :)Since me & mom are not that fussy, anything goes for us. Of course a certain degree of comfort is still needed but we never expect much. After all, we want to get the "feel" of travelling. U have no clue how much Amazing Race has left an impact on my mom. Despite her age, she still wish to go on a backpack. Imagine! Then again, it's not quite possible lah due to many factors. Haha. So, this is just the best alternative for us. We will be heading to KL tentatively on 3rd July on board Transtar Express. Upon arriving at Puduraya Bus Station, we will check in to our accommodation called 'Ancasa Hotel'. This hotel was formerly know as 'Impiana Hotel'. Well, I've heard many opinions on this hotel. Some say it's great, some say it's just fine and some even say it sucks. Well, what do I say? Give it a try of course! Let our own experience speaks for itself. Haha!
"First Class on the Road" - Transtar Express Ancasa Hotel, Kuala LumpurOne thing I love most, must be the location of the hotel! It's very near Chinatown or the more famous Petaling Street! My shopping haven! Haha! I also can't wait to explore other parts of KL by taking the LRT. Perhaps, I will also take the KTM to MidValley! Endless possibilities. Come Visit Malaysia! Haha, free ad. Weee! :D
Ancasa Hotel Location MapI will visit Transtar Travel @ Golden Mile Complex tomorrow, to make a reservation. I hope everything goes on smoothly. May this trip be a success! :)Regards,Niz
