Lovely Sunday
Yups! Apart from the scorching sun that could very well bake me, everything else went smoothly as planned. Nah, nothing grand happened but as many of u may have known, I really do treasure the times spent with my family. It never fail to put a smile on my face. So yeah, just what much happened today?First, the four of us went to a wedding invitation. Guess what? For the rarest of time, my aunt somehow decided to tag along! Haha. Hmmm... I seriously have got no clue who is the host and who is the newly wed but it seems that my mom, granny and even aunt had known them for ages. The host were in tears after meeting us. Eventually the three ladies wept too. So melodramatic, can?! Hahahaha. Apparently, my mom said there's something behind all these. I will know it when the time is right. WOW! Just what could it be? Hehe. :) For now, I couldn't care less. One thing though, can someone feedback to the host that the food served are really sucky? OOPS! ;)
I wonder why the bride & groom looked at that direction? After spending almost 45 minutes at the event, we finally made a move. Since everyone had worn something nice, we couldn't just "waste" it and went home straight, right? So there came the impromptu plan to visit my granny's sister @ Sembawang. After all, it has been quite some time since we last visited her. She stays with her daughter & family in a four-storey condominium called Euphony Garden. The whole area is serene and tranquil but I hate getting in there. The security guard just had to question so much! I know it's for safety reason but please, stop interrogating me like I am going to bomb the whole area! Finally, we were "released" after being handed with this shit sheet...
...which needs to displayed in the car at all times (while in the premise). -_-"The apartment is very small but extremely comfy. I love it to bits! Every single time I visit, I will never fail to snap some pictures. Then again, seeing my face every single time is more than boring thus, I need a victim! Who else if not my aunt? Haha. Blame her for having a makeover done specially for the event. It's not like she's the one getting married! Haha. As usual, to not "waste", I snapped some pictures of her. What do u think? I feel she looks "scary" with this choice of make up. Gee!
Sitting gracefully, eh? (u will laugh if I tell u why! :P)
Yay or Nay?
Feeling "Datin"!Lazing around in the apartment is so heavenly till it's hard for me to bid goodbye. Haha! Obviously I've got no choice right? Still, I do not want the lovely day to end. After all, it was drizzling by then. I need a warm and nice soup. How about Tom Yum? Haha. So yeah, off we went to Bilal Restaurant which is conveniently located at the junction in front of the condominium. I actually love all the foods served there but I hate seeing the price! Exorbitant is all I can say. Hehe.
Strange choice of name, no?
Lovely Ladies
Awww... So Sweet! :PWe really ate to our hearts' content. I recalled my aunt saying that she wanted to give us all a treat again someday so I teased her about treating us today. Without much hesitation, she just agreed. Awesome!!! We also had this Jumbo Satay set but I forgot to snap a picture of it. The sumptous cuisine just attracted much of my attention away. Gosh! Oh yeah, I also forgot to snap the dessert which were a "rich" eclair & cream puff. Sigh. Overall, it's just yummy! Look at the total bill! I think it's insane but it's so not a big deal for my aunt. In fact, she always have a budget of SGD100-SGD140 when she is treating us (she told me). Lucky us, I guess! :D
The main course
Tea & Juices
Lucky number, 88! :)With a really bloated tummy, we walked out of the restaurant with the waiter and waitresses thanking us non-stop. OMG I love the service! To think they don't even charge anything for that! They deserve the 10% more than any other restaurants, ok! Still, I don't mind not paying any. Hehe!!! Oh yeah, did I mention they even had parking lots reserved for their customers? I truly adore the royalty treatment, can? This is what I call Going the Extra Mile for Service (GEMS)! Ok I'm going nuts! ;)Simply, today was just fantastic. I wish it didn't end but as the saying goes, "all good things will eventually come to an end". Sigh. Still, memories could just be relived through all the pictures snapped, no? Haha. Alrighty, till another lovely time together, Adios Amigos!P/S: I can't wait to leave for Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday! Got to do all the confirmation (of my reservation) by today. Woohoo!!! :DRegards,Niz
