Kuala Lumpur Shopping Trip
DAY THREEI woke up at around 8am, feeling quite sad that it was my last day in KL. Looking out of the window from the 13th storey, I started wishing that I can enjoy the whole city for another day. Obviously it's just a wish and all good things must come to an end... Still, I told myself that there were no regrets. Everything has been awesome thus far. So yeah, I quickly got ready and headed down to Saffron Brasserie once again to have breakfast. The menu was more or less the same as the previous day so I didn't really ate much.
After breakfast, mom suggested that we took pictures in the hotel. I just agreed. Ancasa Hotel is just nice for me. Nothing too grand and certainly nothing too bad. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for anything more. All the amenities were there. Service wise, excellent! In fact, their staffs tried to speak English with an accent. It's funny to hear them speak that way. Haha! Overall, it's just worth the RM444 for two nights! ;)
We checked out of the hotel at a quarter to noon. Since our Coach was departing at 4pm, we had a few more hours to spare. What's better than going on another shopping spree?! Haha! After leaving our luggages at the "left luggage" counter in the hotel, we headed straight for Plaza Rakyat station for the final time and took the Rapid to Bandaraya. Our destination? SOGO of course! Gosh, remember the departmental store when it was right smack in the middle of Tampines, many years back? I miss it much!
Since we reached there around lunch time, the whole store was full of shoppers! It's insane to see shoppers taking their pick. Most, if not all, were swiping their credit cards away! Wow, not bad eh? :P Haha. Well, nothing on the mens' side interest me much but mom just couldn't resist purchasing yet another pair of shoe and a "baju kurung". Hehe. I love to see her spending for herself. She rarely shops! After a quick lunch at the crowded foodcourt, we decided to head back to the hotel to collect our luggages.
On the way back to the hotel, I stopped by A&W to buy their Coney Dog and Cheeseburger. I wish I had the time to sit and eat their waffle! Haiz. At around 3.45pm, me & mom were already @ Hentian Puduraya awaiting the arrival of the Coach. Since it's a 21 seater Coach, there were absolutely no rush in boarding it. Inside, the coocoon seats really resemble an airplane's business/first class seat. In fact, I read somewhere that it is actually compatible! I truly love Transtar! No regrets at all! ;)
The Coach captain is really a skilled driver! He sped all the way, making the ride really smooth. Me & mom slept comfortably! ;) After a 2-3 hours drive, we finally stopped at Yong Peng to rest for 40 minutes. Since we were still full from the A&W delicacies, we decided to just have some snacks. The journey back to Singapore were then completed within the next 2-3 hours. We safely reached home by 11.30pm. Woohoo! What a nice trip, I must say! I wish to go on these kind of trips again in the future! :D
