Creator Of My Own Luxurious Little World

Woah! Time really does fly very very quickly these days. It's been a good whole week since I last posted anything. I'm neither on a holiday nor extremely lazy to post something but my hectic life has got the better of me. I mean usually, my only free time is when I'm asleep. I feel it's such a waste to sleep but what can I do? Often, I'm not physically tired but more to mentally tired. Is this just my own mindset? Sigh. God knows!

Anywho, I hope to post the major highlights during my past week but I highly doubt I'll have that much time. Haha! As a starter, I'll post about the Prayer cum Feast function (aka Kenduri) held at my residence last Saturday. I'm still undecided whether to post in detail or just put up the pictures for your viewing pleasure. Hehe. Oh, how pleasurable anyways! LMAO.

Well, actually my grandma has been bugging me and mom about her wish to hold the Kenduri at my residence, since many months back. Truthfully, it's not that me and mom purposely avoided her request but we really really can't find time to hold it back then. Surprisingly, my grandma didn't give up. She usually does, U see. Haha! As such, me and mom were left with no choice but to eventually hold the Kenduri here in our home, last Saturday (23.08.08).

We never were reluctant to hold the Kenduri in our home in the first place, but we just wanted some time to be truly ready before inviting people over. That said, it just simply means that my home needs to be in tip top condition (free from mess basically). With our busy schedule, we got only so much time to be "prepared". An event, regardless on a big or small scale, needs to be carried out in the best way possible, no? This is what my grandmother failed to see. To her, what is so difficult in holding a Kenduri? Oh god! Major things - None. Minor little things - Countless! Haiz.

I'm just extremely glad that everything went smoothly as planned. Grandma was all smiles too coz almost 90% of the people invited (mostly her friends) attended the Kenduri. Overall, it was a total success. The best part? There's abundance of food!!! Hahahaha. My grandma spent a good SGD300+ on food alone but it was all worthit. I guess, pictures does speak a thousand words. Thus, here are some pictures taken from the Kenduri. Many apologies for the pictures' quality.
