Creator Of My Own Luxurious Little World

I believe, I ever did a write up on this Luxury Lifestyle Magazine but sadly, I just can't seem to locate the post. Haha! As such, I decided to just write up another post about them. Well, simply, Luxuo is a website that features the most luxurious item ever existed on Earth. More often than not, ONLY the richy rich can acquire whatever is featured. That leaves the normal people like U & Me gawking in awe and feeling very much miserable for not being as rich. Still, we can dream of being rich, no? I know I always do. Hehe.

Well, guess what? That is exactly the main aim of Luxuo! They want the readers to be in a world of dreams where they own all the featured luxury goods. It may sound "discriminating" (as in to say one can't afford the goods) but eventually, it's the bitter truth. Know what? Go and read the articles a couple of times and U will soon realise that more than half of what's featured are NOT a neccessity in our every day life. They are what u call "wants" and not "needs". Haha! :D Still, who doesn't "want" a luxurious life? Till U can afford it, just keep on dreaming about it, aite? ;)

Anywho, here comes the euphoric part for me! Haha! Mr Pierre Yves, the Editor-in-Chief of Luxuo who is based in Hong Kong, contacted me a couple of days back. I had the shock of my life, for god's sake! In his first e-mail to me, he included these statement...

"As Luxuo.com is getting pretty popular, we are working on a brand new design and we are also looking for people to find and write up brief news/stories on a regular basis ... if you are good at that (the one mentioned above) and if you have time, would you like to join the team and post on Luxuo.com (it's not necessary to post every week)? Let me know if you are interested and have a good week!"

OH MY GOD! Is this for real or what?! I'm so honoured!!! Hahahaha! Obviously I answered YES to his request. Any sane person would definitely not want to let go of this golden opportunity! Gosh, this is just insane, no?! Subsequent e-mails have been forwarded to me on how to post on Luxuo and so on. Well, all I can say now is, watch out for my first post on Luxuo, ya'll!

For now, I am doing it voluntarily. After all, it's my passion! I don't need to get paid for doing something I love! But, Mr Pierre mentioned that in the long run (if everything goes smoothly), he may be able to pay me. Awesome or what? Oh yeah, he also mentioned something about my own Business Card. WHAT?! Gee, now I am in a world of dreams! Hahahaha! Woohoo!!! ;)
