Sweet Pinky Saturday
I had a good time yesterday even though the ending was a bit unexpected. Haha. I don't know why. Is it just me or does my words always make people misunderstand me? If I'm wrong, correct me. I don't mind! Oh wells. I'm so not dwelling on this. If U have read my previous two posts regarding concern, what do U have to say about it? Is it really wrong to be concerned over someone? Is it really minding his/her business? Sigh. In anyways, I just want that one particular person to know that I will always be concerned over his well being even though I know he leads a good life now. No worries, I know MY limit. :)So yeah, after attending to a family matter in the morning, I met up with Iz & Huz at Pasir Ris for a late lunch. It wasn't that impromptu, thus, I succeeded in making the three of us wear pink! Haha. We're just nuts. Wait, make it ME who is nuts. Haha. I will always make them wear something of the same tone. I just find it nice and unique. Sheesh.Confidently, we boarded service number 403 in the hope to reach Downtown East faster (since initially Huz wanted to walk). For all U know, the bus didn't even pass by that area! We panicked and quickly got down at Pasir Ris Town Park. Strangely, I wasn't at all pissed. Instead, I am glad we walked through the park towards Downtown East. I love the park's landscape! It's so tranquil and there's even a pathway that is so picturesque. Pasir Ris residents should really be thankful they have this park in their estate. Haha! Upon reaching Downtown East, we checked out Hei Sushi and thought of having lunch there but it was too expensive without the buffet. Thus, we walked towards E-hub and decided to have lunch at BBQ Chicken instead. It's been quite some time since I wanted to sample their food and finally, I got the chance to do so! We sat on this lush pink couch (suits our outfits much!). The restaurant has a very unique, cosy and homely setting that is just perfect! I fear falling asleep there and then after lunch! Hehe. We ordered their signature dishes alongside drinks and dessert. Well, personally, I feel that their food has been over rated. Firstly, there's not many variety! Secondly, the food are all nice but too nice till it's forgettable. Sigh. The exorbitant prices doesn't help either. Still, if I ever were to visit the restaurant again in the long run, that must be due to the restaurant's interior design. It's love at first sight, man! Haha. I think, that's their only plus point! Hehe. :P Soon enough, we found ourselves back at White Sands, walking around aimlessly. We really had no other plans. Well we actually did but blame someone for being so forgetful. Hehe. By 6pm, me & Iz bidded farewell to Huz who had to work for a couple of hours at Pasir Ris Library. We then headed towards the interchange to board service number 518. Where were we heading to at that time, U ask? Orchard of course!!! It's Saturday night, baby! Hahahaha. Well, sadly, we were not there to party or anything along that line. :( I just wanted to do some "last minute" shopping. Haha! My main aim is to look for some magazines at Kinokuniya but since the copies I wanted were sold out, I ended up going on a shopping spree instead. Tsk3. I should really be saving up since I'm out of job now (will elaborate later). Haiz. Apart from buying the usual snacks at Marks & Spencer and MUJI, guess what else I bought...? Of all things, I bought Aussino Kids Bedsheet! Hahahaha! Well, I just find the Speed Racer theme so cute (suits the upcoming F1 season, IMO)!!! After all, it was on a HUGE SALE! It only cost SGD10.30! While I'm there, I also grabbed two pillow cases at only SGD3.50. What a handsome deal! Those of U who wants a new bedsheet or any home accesories for the upcoming festivities, don't miss out on Aussino sales islandwide, aite?! :D P/S: Btw, here are some pictures from Huz's recent makeover. She looks gorgeous, no?! ;) Sorry I posted this up Huz!!! :P Regards,Niz
