Break Fast @ Ayam Bakar Ojolali
Today, Me, Huz & Iz finally met up to break fast together. Well, as usual, Geylang is always out of the question so where else could we turn to if not Town? Haha. This time round, we (or rather I), particularly chose Orchard. Then again, many would say what is there in Orchard? Fret not, there's two restaurants serving delicious Indo food. One is Ayam Penyet Ria & the other is Ayam Bakar Ojolali. Since Huz didn't want Ayam Penyet, we chose ABO instead. FYI, the restaurant hails from Suroboyo (Surabaya). "The Malay word 'Ayam Bakar' means 'Grilled Chicken' in English while 'Ojolali' is Javanese words and means 'Don't Forget'. In combination 'Ayam Bakar Ojolali' means 'Unforgettable Grilled Chicken' in English."The restaurant was so packed. It's expected anyways. Luckily I've reserved 3 seats. Hehe. Else not, I think we will be queuing for more than 20 mins before we can finally break fast. Then again, it doesn't sound too bad, eh? Still, being kiasu sometimes is OK what! :P Soon, we found our table full of these scrumptious delicacies (Gado2 was for takeaway though! :P): After a hearty meal, we walked out of the restaurant and headed to a nearby mosque to pray before going around to shop. Where else can we proceed if not Paragon & Ngee Ann City? Hehe. Hmmm... What is a meet up without a whole lot of camwhoring?! Here are the best 18 pictures from our mini session yesterday (oops!): Overall, it really was a nice night. I love it loads. Thanx Huz & Iz! The next time we'll go out again will definitely be after Hari Raya. Sigh...Regards,Niz
