IEGians "Jalan Raya"
         Last Wednesday, the Malay IEGians decided to meet up for "Jalan Raya" (Raya Outing). Sadly, this year, only 10 could make it. The rest are either working or have some other plans of their own. Well, still it's not bad. The few of us managed to visit each other's houses (except Sharie's) and Mdm Salinah's house within 12 solid hours. No kidding. We were out from 11am to 11pm! Gosh.Ayin initially suggested hiring a van (plus a driver) so that we can save some journey time. But, at the rate of at least 25 bucks per person, we're better off moving around in public transport! After all, the driver can only be around for 10 hours. I doubt we can complete all houses within that short period of time. It's just kinda rude to visit one's house for a couple of minutes and then go off, right? Oh wells. Overall, I guess everyone just spent a good 10 bucks or so for (public) transport. What a huge difference!Everything aside, it's nice to visit everyone's houses once again. I can't believe it has been a good one year! I wonder if we will ever have anymore "Jalan Raya" next year? Everyone will be busy with their "new life". Perhaps, Me or Sharie or the Other Guys would already be serving NS by next year's Hari Raya. *shrugs* Haha. We'll see how it goes but what matters most, I deeply treasure this year's IEGians "Jalan Raya".
