Relatives Reunited
In this modern age, where everyone leads a very hectic life, don't U agree that it's almost impossible to meet up with our relatives (especially extended ones) that often? As a result, we tend to forget most of them or rather, we don't even know some of them exist! Haha. That's what happened to me. I believe I'm already on the verge of forgetting most of my extended relatives. Recently, one of my 2nd cousin added me @ Facebook but I've got no clue who she was until she refreshed my memory. Sigh. I know I ought to be ashamed of myself but seriously, it had been eons since I last saw her! So what do U expect? Haha.Till today, I believe that the only way for all the relatives to gather, is through organizing events. In the Malay context, what else could be more popular than weddings? Haha. Yups, for example today. I just attended another one (I have countless!) of my 2nd cousin's wedding. I was immediately all smiles when I arrived at the void deck as I saw a whole lot of my relatives sitting around. Some of them I've not seen for eons too! Strangely though, everyone would recognize me easily. The most irritating remark they would make goes something like, "Wah!!! U're so big now!". LIKE DUH! :P *rolls eyes* Anywho, this time round, apart from getting to chat with them a little bit more, I also managed to snap some pictures of them. Mom said, we need an updated picture of them for keepsake purpose. I partially saw the point. Haha! It's nice that most of them are co-operative. As such, the pictures taken were more than lovely. Just look at all of them on my Facebook's Album. The pictures really speak for themselves, right? Haha. Weeee! P/S: I guess it's about time I make a new family tree. Now, that's gonna be tough to collate. Haha!Regards,Niz
