Don't U just love today's date? Ok I know it's super random but I just like it coz if something were to happen today, both for myself and for U people out there, it will be much easier for us to remember the date. Don't U think so? Haha! Sadly, nothing great happened to me. I doubt something memorable will ever go way my on dates like these. Hahaha! Anywho, I did went out with Iz for a short while in the afternoon, to have a late lunch. So where did we head?
Where else if not Pastamania, once again? Hehe. Well, I did mentioned in a previous post that me & Iz will denifitely head back to Pastamania. But, we certainly didn't expect it to be this fast! Haha. It's barely a week, for god's sake. Well, since I may be busy next week (I still haven't study much for the exams!), I decided to just give it a go today. Afterall, I wasn't in school (again!) for the whole of today and thus, I felt like I have so much free time. Hahaha.
If we had went to the Harbourfront's branch the other day, today we (rather I) decided to check out the Far East Plaza's branch. When we reached, we were shocked to see the size of the restaurant! It can be classified as fairly small! To think we're in town~ Haha. Oh wells, without much hesitation, we quickly requested seats for two. Since the restaurant wasn't air-conditioned, I fear it may get a little warm but thank god there's strong blowing fans located at almost all corners of the restaurant! Else not, I believe I would have gotten out from the restaurant within seconds after entering (over-acting). Haha!
So, after going through the huge menu for quite some time, we finally decided to place our orders but it's not without doubt. At the back of our minds, we were just hoping that everything we ordered would taste much better than what we savoured, the last time. I'm glad that the restaurant was fairly empty so all our orders came within minutes. :) Service wise has always been excellent but the moment of truth finally came. We quickly sampled everything and came to a conclusion almost immediately! Guess what? We both felt Pastamania was not for us. Sad truth but everything just tasted so-so. Well, U may say that we have bad taste buds but that's just what we felt. :P
Knowing the fact that we already splurged a hefty SGD31+ for the meal, we had no choice but to swallow everything till the last bit despite disliking it. I'm not that fussy actually so I was fine with it but Iz really had a tough time. I swear he looked like he could have vomitted! Hahaha. Well, I still wonder why Pastamania is sooooo popular in Singapore, then? It should be extremely good, no? Sigh. Still, we are yet to try their variety of pizzas. Those looks extremely drool worthy! Maybe I shall go with mom or aunt, next time. Hehe.
P/S: Iz, want to have another lunch/dinner session @ Pastamania? LMAO!
