It was Valentine's Day yesterday but I saw no reason to celebrate it coz I'm single! Haha. Even if I wasn't, I still would have felt that V Day is just over rated! Don't U? Is that the only day someone should be extra special to their partner? Is that the only day for them to treat their loved ones to fine dining? Aren't they tired of queueing up everywhere? Gosh, there's endless of questions in my mind but I guess all that doesn't matter, no? Haha! Oh wells, as long as they're happy, then! ;)
Anywho, me & Iz still headed to Harboufront yesterday afternoon, despite knowing that we would have to push through loving couples everywhere. We only had one mission, that is to have dinner at this newly Halal certified restaurant, called Pastamania. I just got the breaking news a few days back and since then, I was so eager to dine there. I know U'll ask, why of all days, we chose V Day (where there will definitely be a super long queue) just to sample the delicacies? Well, me & Iz are both busy and co-incidentally, we're free yesterday so we had no other choice. It's such a bummer that V Day had to fall on the same day! Haha. After all, there's not a need to give way for couples to have their lovey dovey moments in the restaurants. Be considerate, please! ;)

So yeah, we finally managed to get seats in the super cramped restaurant after queueing up for maybe 10 mins? Thank god it wasn't that long! So without hesitating, we placed our orders and soon enough, the delicacies arrived. I'm quite pleased that the crew managed to maintain their cool even though I can see from their faces that they're stressed out. Kudos, Pastamania crew! :D Now, judgement time. Haha. Hmmm... overall, I would just rate the delicacies, a 6.5/10. Not to be harsh but seriously, I can get what they serve, anywhere. Their delicacies are quite pricey so I expected a better standard. Hmmm... maybe it was because of V day. I guess, the chef was also tired! Haha. Nevermind, I shall head back to Pastamania in the near future to savour their other delicacies, so that I can "re-judge" everything. :P

After dinner, we decided to walk round VivoCity, hoping to bag up some good deals. Sadly, nothing catches our attention and soon enough, we became bored and tired of walking around. Haha. We wasted a lot of time in all the stores, aimlessly browsing through what was on display. I guess, if not for V Day, we couldn't have done that without being approached by a salesperson. ;) Still, that doesn't make me agree with V Day, ok! We have the sales period too... :P Haha. By 9.30, we decided to take a break @ Starbucks while camwhoring a little. Not exactly the way I wanted to though as there were a few pairs of eyes watching us. Irritating bugger!!! By 10, we proceed back to Harbourfront to meet my mom after her afternoon shift. She had agreed before hand to drive us back home. How sweet of her! :) Iz of course just enjoyed the ride! Haha...
P/S: Thanx Iz for the nice night out! Oh yeah, U looked great in that G2000 shirt I gave U! :D
Regards,
Niz
