Ok that was just some random 70's song I found on the net. Hahahaha! But, don't the phrases above somehow describe Downtown East? Oh wait, the last phrase is actually DE's tagline! Haha. Oh wells, I don't know about U but personally, I'm just in love with the place! :) Well, true enough the place doesn't have much to offer but whatever is there, I felt it's just sufficient. For example, there's countless of good restaurants, countless of entertainment places and many more! What's there not to like about Downtown East? (this is including E-hub, by the way) Hehe.
One of the more prominent sightings at Downtown East must be the small retail shops selling a variety of items, from stationaries to bags to apparels. Sadly, not many people would actually enter the shops to check out what they have to offer because firstly, the items are not branded and secondly, they fear the prices are going to be really exorbitant. Well, it is so not true! In fact, the best finds actually come from these small shops. Not to mention the really affordable and attractive prices! :P Haha. A good example of the people who benefited from the awesome deals, are me & Huz. After looking through extensively in this one apparel shop, we're so glad to find something that suits our taste. Huz got a top while I got a pair of jeans. Weeee~
Soon after, we felt extremely hungry and thus, decided to dine at Hei Sushi. It has been quite a while since my last visit so I was of course, excited! :) I became even more euphoric after realising that I can use my student pass to get some discounts for the buffet. So does Iz. Yay for being students. Haha! Huz had to pay the full adult price but anywho, eventually, we decided to split the cost equally and everyone had to fork out almost 20 bucks. Well, I wouldn't say this is a ridiculous price cause I feel, it's super worthit! Hehe. Oh yeah, thanx Iz for the little treat. ;)

Overall, we just had a good time together. Would love to stay a bit longer with the two besties but then, everyone had something to attend to. So yeah, we splitted ways feeling extremely full (just look at the plates below). Haha! Thankies Huz & Iz. :D

P/S/S: My granny was warded to Changi General Hospital (possibly for only a day), in the evening, due to some heart problem. Can't understand why this have to happen but like what I always say, "things happen". I just don't question much. Haha. I'm just hoping she gets better soon! :)
