As I've mentioned in the previous post, most Singaporean chose to splurge on good food as soon as they received that much coveted "GST money". My family is no exception, especially when granny received so much more for being a Senior Citizen. Haha! As soon as the money was banked in, she immediately came out with the idea to have dinner at a restaurant. When asked if she had any particular one in mind, she quickly said "Sedap Corner @ Simpang Bedok". I was like, woah! That is true splurging but I don't mind! In fact, I love the idea! Hahahaha...
So yeah, off we went tonight despite the drizzle. Little did it dampen our spirits to savour good quality food prepared by my "brother", Chef Bob! HAHA! Luckily, we arrived early at the restaurant. Else not, we're not able to get seats! Somehow, the restaurant have gotten so popular till so many people want to dine there. Love to see good business for them though. :) Anywho, after settling down, we flipped through the menu and took sometime to decide what to eat. As usual, spoilt for choice! Hehe. End up, we ordered these:
Everything was just lovely! I think, even the word sumptous doesn't do justice to the food served. They're just one of a kind! :D I'm glad to be able to savour the delicacies once again. The last time I visited the restaurant in December 2008, I already knew that Sedap Corner is one eatery worth splurging on! Now, I hope to visit it again in the near future to savour the other items on the menu. Thank U Chef Bob! :D
P/S: I finally had my Cordon Bleu! Oh yeah, the theme for the night was Turquoise/Light Blue. This fact seems to amuse some people... Hehe! :)
