Can anyone decipher the title? Hahahaha! I doubt so. Guess what it is? Well, it's Tang Tea House Hong Kong Cafe! :P My, what a long name for a cafe, no? Haha. This not-so-little cafe is located at Bedok Road aka Simpang Bedok (exactly opposite Simpang Bedok Post Office) and has been around for quite some time now. I got to know about the cafe since a long time back but never had the chance to savour anything from there. I don't know what's the hindrance. :P Anywho, I'm of course super happy to have finally dined there, today.

Me and family reached there at around 5+pm, thus the cafe was fairly empty. I wasn't sure of what to expect initially but as soon as I flipped through the menu, I instantly knew that we're in for a lovely treat. I just love authentic chinese cuisines! I've been craving for some recently so the moment was just perfect. Haha! It's strange that almost everything in the menu is comparable to that of Tong Shui Cafe (located at Changi Airport Terminal 2), but obviously the price is way cheaper here! Hehe. Who says one needs to splurge in order to savour good food? :P
I swear I was so spoilt for choice. It took me quite some to order. If I follow my heart, I would have ordered most of the item in the menu but obviously that will never ever happen. Haha! End up, I indulged in the "XO Sauce" Seafood Fried Rice while mom and granny savoured the fragrant Hainanese Chicken Rice. Our side dishes were the Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish and Chicken Dumpling (with broth). God knows how bad I wanted to taste the dumplings and now I got it! Simply amazing... :D To wash down everything, I had a very resfreshing Mango Juice (more like puree). Two thumbs up for TTHHKC! ;)

Oh yeah, before we had our early dinner, we actually headed to the Halal food exhibition at Singapore Expo (Hall 6B) first. Despite being a Friday, the crowd were quite good and everyone seems to be buying loads of things. Haha! Obviously me and family weren't left out. We bought quite a number of items, including the ones below. I must be on cloud nine now... :P
