Woohoo!!! After waiting eagerly for a few weeks, I finally received the letter, indicating that I was successfully awarded with SGD400 through the ITE Bursary! :) So today, without hesitating, me and family went to Punggol Community Club @ Hougang to claim the crisp cheque. I was all smiles upon seeing the cheque. It's like, all my hard work paid off! Haha. I seriously don't know why the Government wants to give out this incentive but whatever it is, I'm just thankful and truly appreciates it. :)
So, to celebrate the joyous moment, me and family decided to have dinner at Pastamania @ Hougang Mall. Even though I've been to the restaurant a couple of times now (islandwide), I still am excited everytime I look at the huge menu. No idea why but I just love the feeling! Haha. :P Anywho, since it was Mom's and Granny's first time at Pastamania, I was practically the "waiter" there who explained to them more or less about what some of the dishes comprises of. Eventually, these were what we had...

It may not look much but it's definitely filling! I love seeing how much Granny savoured all the delicacies. Hehe. I'm blessed to have a Granny who practically eats everything even though she's already 71! Fussy with food and U'll lose out, no? Hahaha. Overall, we just had a good time eating together while chatting the evening away. :) Oh yeah! The ambience of the restaurant was so cosy till it's hard for me to leave the place. Hahaha!

We finally went out of the restaurant, all full, and decided to walk round Hougang Mall for a bit before heading home. Well, there's nothing much at Hougang Mall but there were still a huge crowd, somehow. Haha! We just beat the crowd and ended up at a store called Eight Percent. The store sells bags from the brand called Ink. I never really liked anything from Ink coz it looks a tad too teenager-ish and cheap but, my perception changed as soon as I saw one bag which fits all the criteria that I am looking for in my next bag - a Man Bag! :D Without hesitation, I tried on the bag and instantly fell in love with it. U can definitely guess what's coming up next, right? Hahahaha!

Yes, I got the bag after much deliberation, there and then. Haha. It may not be the most perfect bag for sure but I've got nothing to lose! The bag only cost SGD46.90 so I guess, it's not so bad after all, eh? Hehe! What I love most about the bag is, it does have this "expensive" look despite the super affordable price tag. As such, who would know that I carry an Ink bag, right? Unless I publicise the brand, that is... Haha. :P Weeee!!!
