Me, Huz & Iz met up once again today to spend some quality time together. Though it was not according to what we have nicely planned, we still had a blast! :) Everything that took place was kinda impromptu but I'm glad they went on smoothly. :)
We started of by taking a bus from Bedok to City Hall and then walked all the way to Marina Square. No idea why this had to happen since the MRT would be more convenient but hey, things happen. Hahahaha! As soon as we reached MS, our tummy were kinda rumbling, so we took some time to decide where to eat. We finally agreed to have an early dinner at the foodcourt where cheap and good food can be found but guess what? We ended up at Breeks instead! Hehe.

Well, I guess it was partially my fault for the sudden change coz I couldn't resist the tempting menu at Breeks. It's been a while anyways. Hehe! Furthermore, I was able to splurge a little on food so why not give it a go, right? :P I'm glad I did because I sure had a good time in the restaurant! The food served were superb and the customer service was just excellent. Here's what we had;
*Patties Melted*
*BBQ Half Chicken with Honey Berry Sauce*
*Cajun Chicken Chop*
*Marble Chocolate Fondue Set*
Stop drooling already! Did I say that the Fondue is TDF? I can't get enough of the Avocado! Hahahaha. I felt it's worth every single cent, man! A really really satisfied customer here. ;) Head down to Breeks to savour the delicacies, now! :D

With a full tummy, we walked out of the restaurant, all smiles. We then window shopped at MS before making our way to the Esplanade. Now, I've never expected us to sit down near the waterfront to watch a live gig perform but guess what? We actually did. Hahaha! I'm never a big fan of gigs but if it's worth my time watching, then why not? ;) The band that performed for the night was named "BangkuTaman" (Park Bench) and they originated from Indonesia. They specialise in Indie music but could play other genre as well. Overall, I would rate their performance a good 8/10. I hope they make it real big someday! :)

After listening/watching to 3 performances from "BangkuTaman", we decided to make a move to the merlion across the bridge. Upon reaching, we were surprised to hear the music being played at the waterfront, very clearly! In fact, it's way better than being at the exact location. Haha! If we knew, we would have made our way to the merlion earlier. Anywho, after we walked around for a bit, we decided to chill at The Coffee Bean while sipping down some cool ice blended drinks. Trust me, nothing beats lazing around on their comfyyyy sofa! Hahahaha... Soon enough, we have to call it a day but boy, what a fulfilling day it was! Thanx Iz & Huz! ;)
Regards,
Niz
