Since I'm all about meeting my friends and relatives before I enlist for National Service, I also took the opportunity to visit my relatives in Batam, over the weekend. Indirectly, it's like a quick getaway for me too... Hehe. :P I can say the plan is quite impromptu because I had just visited my relatives a couple of months ago but it's ok. I already miss them anyways and now, I'll be missing them more! :(
We left quite early for Batam on Friday and upon our arrival, we immediately proceeded to Diamond City Mall for some shopping and lunch. Hahaha! Me and mom just couldn't control the urge as the exchange rate was THAT amazing! So U can't really blame us, aite. :P Guess what? Even lunch in a restaurant practically cost nothing! How heavenly... Hehe. ;)
Aftter lunch, we went back to my relative's place and chilled all the way till the next day. Talk about total relaxation!!! Haha. While the kids hog on my laptop, I watched the many Indonesian channels till I gave up. I became confused after a while coz there's too many dramas! Hehe...

On Saturday, we headed out to Nagoya Hill to have lunch at yet another restaurant called Solaria. That's my most favourite restaurant in Batam! Not only is it affordable, it's extremely cosy too. I really love the ambience! Not a wonder the restaurant is always jam-packed with people, especially the high end-ers. Weeeee! The menu wasn't any less appetising so we really had a tough time to order. If my stomach can take it, I would have ordered everything! Hahahaha...

We spent quite some time in the restaurant and after we're done, we went round the shopping mall to just window shop. As much as I want to purchase more things, I thought there's no point in doing so, thus the "sacrifice". Hahaha! Soon enough, we're back at my relative's place to do some last minute packing before heading out again to Harbour Bay to board the ferry home.
As usual, it's always hard whenever I have to leave my loved ones but I've got no choice. I just pray for the best and till we meet again, someday. :) I know I will miss these kids terribly... Yes they're very naughty & mischievous but at the same time, they're extremely cute & adorable. Haiz... Oh yeah, I guess I'll also miss seeing them grow up for at least the next 2 years... Arghhhh! :(
