Today, 29th December 2009, was set by me as a comeback date to the blogging world. Haha. I realised it's been more than 3 months since my hiatus. So many things happened since my last post that hindered me from posting more entries to this blog. But now, with the New Year 2010 just around the corner, I hope everything can go back to normal (if not better). I miss blogging soooo much. I thought, by being active on Facebook, it would be enough for others to get an update of me but nothing beats blogging, actually. Hehe. Anywho, U must be wondering just what much happened throughout my hiatus, right? Well, I don't mind sharing a "little bit"... Hehe!

First and foremost, on the 14th of September 2009, I was called by an army personnel (someone from BMTC) informing me that I was late in reporting at my new unit (School of Infantry Weapon) and that the "new bosses" are looking for me. I was super shocked because from what I know, I only have to report to the new unit, the week after. Remember I mentioned I was given two weeks blocked leave after my passing out ceremony? Well, strange as it is, I immediately changed to my Smart 4 and took a cab all the way to Pasir Laba Camp. I almost fainted when I had to pay around SGD23 for the cab fare. That's how much it cost for a journey from Bedok all the way to Jurong. Sigh.
When I reached the unit, I was introduced to everyone and they kept on asking why I was late. One of the new boss even threatened to charge me but I was being rebellious for bit. Haha! It's not my fault ok! Luckily everything went on smoothly. I got some basic information and was told to report back the following day to start work, proper. I did as told and they say, the rest is history. Hehe. Obviously, adapting to the new surrounding and people seemed like a great chore initially but as days passed, I began to feel more comfortable and as I get accepted, I felt just happy being posted there. There isn't much workload to begin with and I get to stay out each day so what more can I ask for? Getting other benefits like off days, leaves, time off, being able to surf the net at work and many more is just like icing on the cake. Hahaha. Overall, I'm still content with everything. :)

I've never experienced so many things in my life in such a short span of time and thus, I'm really thankful for everything. Life's a bitch but I took it all like a man. Hahahaha! I really wish I can describe all that I experienced in the Army life in detail but that's really going against the rule so I better not. U know, Army is all about private & confidential, no? Hehehe. So yeah... But, rest assured, I'm still alive and kickin'. I hope I can endure all the way till I ORD on 23rd July 2011. Gosh, that's eons ahead! Hahahaha...
Oh yeah, despite having to leave home as early as 5.30am and only returning back at around 7.30pm every single weekday (resulting in me being lethargic), I'm still happy that I have the weekend to do what I wanna do. That's really the perk of working office hours, eh? Hehe. In fact, despite the seemingly tight schedule, I still managed to travel to Batam for a couple of days, celebrate all the Hari Rayas with my family, attend events, be a host to my relatives when they came to visit and so many moreeee! I'm really enjoying my life to the max. It's just weirdddd... Hehe! Gah. I think I should end here. I musn't be too euphoric. I probably won't get to enjoy this life again in the future due to some changes in the unit. Oops! Nothing can be revealed till it's confirmed so till then, I'm just gonna observe the situation... ;) Take care peepz~
